Here’s a fun crossing!😅 While skiing the Moose River, you come upon areas of open water & thin ice.🌊
These are places the water is quickly moving and ice was unable to form even at prolonged subzero temperatures!🧊🌡️
In this spot, I had stopped to shoot over the top of a beaver dam that spans from side to side.🦫
How wet would you get if you fell in? I checked the river depth at the openings to get an idea. You’d be up to your waist in water, sticks, and sand!🥶
