It's that time of the year when you start to feel the pressure of Christmas. Last year I decided to do something that I really have been wanting to do, but with time, travel, etc., never could do. I started early this year and made myself do this every free moment I had. I am making most of my christmas gifts. I made list of the family members that I wanted to do this for and so far I am doing what I had set out to do. I am almost done and could not be more proud of myself!

What a beautiful day in Virginia! A quick trip to clear the mind and work on mental well being, which is very important these days. Found a hidden “Gem” of a place on our travels today, Meadows of Dan in the southern part of Virginia. When I say it is a gem, it is truly a beautiful place with awesome food and people.

Welcome to A Little of This and That page. We are a Thrift Store that promote and sells gently used items that are in excellent condition. The funds from the sell of the items go back into the community for teachers who need supplies, but can't afford them or to the Grand Strand Humane Society to help supplement their need for food or supplies for the animals. We will be posting items for sell and hopefully you will find something that you may like to have.
