Great news from Susan Kelly & her Boxers who participated in the Gulf Coast Classic held in Mobile, Alabama!

🐾 On Thursday MIKEY became CH Angel Creeks Defender Of Love With Kelly's. Mikey went WD BOW for a 4 point major from the Bred By class. Mikey is the 1st champion for his dam GCH Ch Rubyglen Kelly's Heavenly Gift At Angel Creek BCAT -Dot and the 9th Champion for his sire GCHG CH Pinnacle's Deep Eddy DCAT- Eddy. Mikey was bred by owners Susan Kelly , Joseph Trojan, Sheila Cox and handled by Susan.

🐾 Littermate Angel Creek's Gift Of Love With Kelly- ESTER went WB for a 4 point major on Sunday from the Bred By class. Ester has 11 points with both majors on the way to her confirmation championship.

🐾 GCH CH Kelly's Grand Slam @ Rubyglenn CAA BCAT RATS FD-STRIKER is pictured below winning 2nd out of 13 dogs in the Owner Handler Working Group on Sunday. In just 3 weekends of shows Striker is ranked #5 in the NOHS for Boxers right below his kennel mate GCHB CH Marburl's Fade To Black At Maxl CA BCAT RATM- DEMI who is ranked #4. Striker was bred by Susan Kelly, Sheila Cox and Cheryl Matlock and owned and handled by Susan. He is sired by BISS MBISNOHS GCHS CH Kelly's Ring Of Fire RATS CZ8S CGC TKN and dam CH Rubyglen Kelly's Cold As Ice CAA.

Our 2025 AKC Deep South Obedience Trial will be on October 4&5 in the Susan Park Gym - Kenner, Louisiana. We also will have a MATCH on Friday 10/3 from 8am to 4pm.
🦋 We will need some hard-working member volunteers to help set up the trial rings, carry out the ring activities, & clean up. If you can help, please contact Gary Clement at 504-722-1130, Debbie Boyd at 504-858-4597, or Evelyn Audler at 504-481-2410. 🦋

If you are showing your dog in the trial, you could volunteer to help with the MATCH on Friday. We also need RAFFLE prize donations. Please consider helping us at the trial!🎉😃🐕😃🎉

The Deep South Obedience Club will have a RING RENTAL on Saturday 9/27/3025 at the Faith Lutheran Church Gym in Harahan, Louisiana from 8-4 PM. This is a great opportunity to practice for our upcoming OBEDIENCE TRIAL on 10/4 & 5/ 2025. The Boxer Club of Louisiana is dedicating their November 2025 Specialty Show in memory of our friend & Deep South Club member ANN IRWIN.
What an honor! Ann taught our DS Puppy Class for many years & coordinated the DS Pet Therapy Group. She & her dogs brought joy to nursing homes, schools, & hospitals.

Thank you for honoring ANN IRWIN ...a treasure to all who knew her & had the pleasure to work with.
