“Christian’s Fire Hip-Hop Show”, is all new and live Monday at 12 PM EDT here on OWWR. Not only is it day 1 on Monday for students here at Old Westbury, but our listeners are about to be schooled too!

Get ready to learn about “Flow Hip-Hop”. It’s when a rapper writes the lines beforehand, but the lyrics are just pure boasting and technical skill designed to be rapped over any random beat.

In a written verse, a rapper can craft a mind-bending puzzle of hidden meanings. In a freestyle, the main goal is simply survival, keeping the rhythm going without freezing up. This means freestyle flows rely heavily on high-energy delivery, voice changes, and clever punchlines rather than deep, multi-layered stories. The best part of listening to a freestyle is the surprise. When a rapper drops a clever punchline that they clearly just thought of, the audience explodes with energy because everyone realizes it was made up on the spot.

-We’re analyzing each Power 4 conference as well as standout mid-major teams and seeing which teams in each conference have what’s needed to reach the College Football Playoff. We also rank the conferences themselves and see which one is the best conference in sport. Are the SEC still in charge of College Football, or have they been usurped by the Big Ten?
