I spend 2 hours a day on this… before I even start working.

That’s what Annette told me when I asked how much time she spends on herself before “business mode” kicks in.

Her routine ↓
✅ Sleep, movement, water, food — the non-negotiables
✅ Meditation + breathwork most evenings
✅ Sauna and cold plunge almost daily

Her logic: pro athletes spend serious money and time on their bodies because it’s literally their profession. So why wouldn’t the rest of us treat ourselves the same way?

Made me rethink my own morning.

Dunedin was the perfect location and the community has welcomed The Flyin’ Bulldog with open arms!

Go say hi to Jason & Monique this weekend while you’re getting prepared for the kids going back to school.

Some people just belong in a kitchen. Jason’s one of them.

He spent almost 28 years cooking before he opened his own place, and he did it in Dunedin, a town he barely knew.

Opening a restaurant is brutal. Most don’t make it, especially in a place like Dunedin that is very seasonal. But when you care this much about the food and the people eating it, word gets around. Jason & Monique have already built a real community of regulars.

Balance vs Harmony

We talked about this a lot on the podcast over the years and everyone has a different answer.

Which tells there is no right way to manage your life but there are tools to help you find the balance in your current season.

Things lick… being present, quieting the mind, moving your body and getting good sleep.

How you go about those depends on what works for you.

Experiment and find your way!

Living near a golf course may be making you sick.

That’s not a scare tactic. It’s a study.

Ocyrus Erickson of Terra Preta shared this on Episode 217: people living within one mile of a golf course have a 128% higher risk of developing Parkinson’s disease compared to those living six miles away.

Palm Harbor alone has several golf courses within residential neighborhoods.

The deeper issue isn’t just golf courses. It’s that chemical exposure from synthetic lawn care has become so normalized we’ve stopped seeing it as a problem.

It’s in our soil.

It runs off into our waterways.

We walk through it after irrigation. Our kids and pets play in it.

Our planet is literally called Earth. Soil is everywhere. And what we put into it comes back to us — whether we’re paying attention or not.

The question Ocyrus is asking — and the one worth sitting with — is how do we get back to a system where none of this was necessary in the first place?
