CrickBillies

CrickBillies Out here, we look after one another!

CrickBillies is a community of riders who grew up on backroads, bonfires, and saying “crick” instead of “creek.” We ride the Ridges, Cross the Cricks, and stand proud for the flag and the folks who defend it.

Our RMAX fleet stays ready for the next adventure due to their unmatched reliability and durability. As most in our crew can attest, we stay moving on the trails and can’t afford to miss the next ridge or crick around the corner. Cheers folks! Hope to see you out there soon.

Huge shoutout to Yamaha Outdoors for capturing the Crickbillies crew right in our natural habitat slinging mud, climbing ridges, and crossing cricks out at Windrock Parkduring the 2026 Yamaha XT-R Challenge weekend!

As always, the trails were wild, the machines were rowdy, and the people made the weekend unforgettable. Now that the dust has finally settled and the mud’s dried on the doors(and the seaweed from the mudbog), we’re getting the chance to look back on one heck of a weekend with some awesome folks from all over the country.

We’re already counting down the days until we can do it all over again next year. Until then… Ride the Ridges, Cross the Cricks!

It was a symphony of machines coming down off of Trail 20 during the CrickBillies evening group ride at the Yamaha Outdoors XT-R Challenge weekend.

It was rad seeing our group ride, picking their lines as we came up Trail 26 on the way back from the Brushy Mountain Penitentiary. Who else loved Trail 26?

Wishing we were back on the trails group riding with all of our new friends from the Yamaha Outdoors XT-R Challenge!

Great reel by the folks at Windrock Park!

Here’s a quick rundown of what we started our loop with, the obstacle course.

XT-R Challenge - the key word there was Challenge, and the engineers designed a killer course for all to test their machines and skills against in the almost 50 mile loop. It took us almost 6 hours, stuck behind a few Polaris’s on Trail 22 initially, and fixing a punctured sidewall with 5 plugs as we came off Trail 6, but everyone in our group rose to the challenge.

Story time: last year at this time, we were still new RMAX owners, without a scratch on the skid plate and many neighborhood 4 miles cruises under our belt. When I decided to drive 8.5 hours with my truck and landscape trailer, I remember asking Sarah when she inquired if I was going to sign up for the challenge; “Am I going to tear my machine up?” She assured me that that was not the point of the challenge, more so to push consumers into seeing what these beasts can truly do; and also, they had spare parts in the truck if we broke anything that they’d be happy to share to get us back out on the trail. So I said yes, and am so glad I trusted her. Not only did it change the trajectory of my next year of riding, but I also was fortunate enough to win the giveaway 2025 RMAX 4 XT-R that I drove in this years challenge, and was also able to get my dad, Dennis Reiman out to drive my 2024 RMAX 4 right behind me for all those miles. It was an awesome feeling to have the whole family there to meet my Yamaha family, and all the friends I’ve made along the way….remember I said changed my trajectory. I’ve met so many of you guys, chatted on Facebook forums and Messenger, and had the privilege of organizing a few group trips back to Windrock to relive the killer trails that they provide. Kristal Barry Lambert Tony Patterson Bill Hargrove Terry L Martin Louie Orris and Dennis Ridgeway have all joined us on these epic adventures, and all our new friends are definitely invited for the future trips. More to follow on that, but in the meantime, thank you for all of the support and it was very cool to put faces to the names this weekend and do a little riding together! Cheers 🍻

P.S. Romeo Barrera you’re coming next year!
