CrickBillies Out here, we look after one another!

CrickBillies is a community of riders who grew up on backroads, bonfires, and saying “crick” instead of “creek.” We ride the Ridges, Cross the Cricks, and stand proud for the flag and the folks who defend it.

Lots of talk about the RMAX being a 🐐 on the climbs, so we did some testing.

🇺🇸 WE’RE BACK! NEW CRICKBILLIES VIDEO! 🇺🇸

After taking a few months away from the videos, we’re finally back — and what better way to kick things off than heading home to the hills of Pennsylvania for one of our favorite traditions: the annual 4th of July Ride! 🇺🇸

There’s just something special about going back to where you grew up, hitting the trails with longtime friends, sharing plenty of laughs, and enjoying the kind of fellowship that makes these rides about so much more than the machines.

We spent the day riding the ridges, crossing the cricks, and soaking up some beautiful Pennsylvania scenery before making our way to the legendary Packsaddle Covered Bridge — one last gathering spot before everyone pointed their machines toward home and went their separate ways.

Another great ride. Another pile of memories. And another reminder that sometimes the best part of the trail is the people you share it with.

🇺🇸 Happy Birthday, America! 🇺🇸

🎥 The Crickbillies are back — come along for the ride!

Ride the Ridges. Cross the Cricks!

Of all the articles and headlines I’ve seen shared, this is the one that explains it best. Many large OEM’s(not in the UTV/ATV) segment use this strategy to restructure operations. Just an anecdotal example; John Deere needed to accelerate their foothold in the stand-up commercial lawn segment. They continued to source their power plant from Kawasaki, but utilized resources from competitor Wright to build their frame and decks. This lasted I believe a year or two, until they were able to perfect their manufacturing process to stamp a true 7 gauge deck, and now have taken that process back over to build their stand-on Quick-Trak mowers. Here’s hoping we can continue to rely on Yamaha’s reputation for reliability, performance, and quality going into the future.

Yamaha Motor USA is revising its side-by-side strategy and will stop manufacturing SxS vehicles at Yamaha Motor Manufacturing Corporation in Newnan, Georgia, after the 2026 model year. The decision ends Yamaha’s in-house side-by-side production, but Yamaha emphasized that it is not exiting the SxS market. Instead, future Yamaha-branded side-by-sides will be supplied by outside manufacturing partners under an OEM agreement, with Yamaha focusing primarily on the larger utility and multi-purpose segments.
