The University of Olivet held its annual Convocation (the action of calling people together for a large formal assembly) on Aug. 21 to welcome in the new school year. First-year student Shaelyn S. Lampinen, who snapped this photo said, "To me this photo encompassed Convocation because it was the community coming together to celebrate the professors and school and for the school and professors to celebrate the students."

A heads up!

Today is the day! The annual voluntary statewide tornado drill being held on Wednesday, March 20th at 1:00 pm. We hope the tornado drill begins or continues a broader conversation about emergency preparedness regarding:

🔹Do you have a plan?
🔹Where will you go?
🔹What will you do?
🔹Do you know the alerts, warnings, and notification systems in your area?
🔹How will you communicate?

Visit Eaton County Emergency Management and Eaton County 911 for more info.

Happy holidays, all.
Believe it or not, no time like the present to get ready for the Spring 2024 semester, beginning Jan. 8 for students.
News from the mailroom:

When we return from break the mailroom will be in transition to the Student Center.
Department Mail will be delivered as normal on mail run. The actual mailroom window will not be open from January 2nd-5th. Students, check for more information on your email or with your RA.
We appreciate your patience with this and hope to see you soon in our new location!
Please feel free to reach out if you need something during this time.
