Thurston Community Media is a nonprofit media access organization providing training, production, and distribution of digital media. We are contracted by Thurston County and the cities of Olympia, Lacey, and Tumwater to manage the facilities and channels that are made available through local cable franchises. For more than 30 years, individuals and groups have used our facilities, equipment, and s

ervices to produce a prolific catalog of hundreds of thousands of hours of content related to the greater Thurston County region. We’ve mentored thousands of local media producers and content creators on making their own media. Our programming is seen on channels 3, 22, 26, and 77 on Comcast cable system in Thurston County, on channels 3, 22 and 23 on Consolidated Cable in Yelm, and on the internet. We believe that community media is a powerful tool for empowering citizens and building stronger communities. We’re more than television - we are a creative learning community!
