RAW Recap:
• Bobby Lashley kicks off the show. Crowd loudly chants "Bobby".
Lashley says “America’s Independence Day holds a special place in all of our hearts” and he couldn’t be happier to be standing here as the new US Champion.
Lashley says it’s not the title that makes the man. It’s the man that makes the title.
Theory interrupts and points out he’s the youngest Mr. Money in the Bank in WWE history.
Theory says he’s going to get a rematch against Lashley for the US Championship at SummerSlam.
Theory adds that he’ll be ready to take down the winner of Roman vs. Brock at SummerSlam.
Theory throws the Money in the Bank briefcase in Lashley’s face and beats him down with it.
Lashley comebacks with a back elbow and a big spinebuster and Theory retreats.
• The Mysterios def. Finn Balor & Damian Priest via DQ (11:30).
Ending:
Rey fakes himself getting hit behind the referee’s back like Eddie Guerrero and when the ref sees it he calls for the bell.
• Backstage, Miz tells Logan Paul to retract his statement and accept his offer to reunite as a tag team.
Miz says if Paul doesn’t accept he will be humbled. Somehow this conversation gets back to the topic of Miz’s tiny balls.
Miz says his balls are gigantic, super-sized.
• Backstage, Street Profits are hosting a 4th of July cookout. Riddle, Shelton Benjamin & Doudrop are among the attendees.
The party is interrupted by Alpha Academy.
Gable wants to read an “annotated version of the Declaration of Independence”, but Montez Ford doesn’t let him get to it.
Angelo Dawkins touts his hot dog eating skills. Otis steps up and it appears we’re going to get a hot dog eating contest.
• Backstage, Balor & Priest attack The Mysterious from behind.
• AJ Styles def. The Miz (6:25).
Post-match, Ciampa attacks Styles. Miz & Ciampa then shake hands.
• Liv Morgan comes out and the fans chant “You deserve it”. Morgan says “We deserve it”.
