Thank you to everyone who joined us for the latest open mic collaboration we shared with 13th Street Coffee & Tea earlier this summer! We’re so grateful for the amount of support we’ve received around this series & for all of the amazing artists who took the time to perform. 🥦

Because of the increased volume of performers, photos from the event will be split across a few different posts, so check back if you’re not featured this time!

Thank you all so much for your patience with the content from our open mic series! Things have been busy lately, but we are slowly catching up & planning on sharing all of your wonderful music soon. 🙂‍↕️

We also want to use this opportunity to thank our good friends from 13th Street Coffee & Tea for being the best partners possible throughout this series. As some of you may have heard, this will unfortunately be our last open mic with them, as the coffee shop has recently closed. We will miss them dearly but wish them the best on this next chapter! ☕️

Lastly, we want to take a moment to thank & give a delayed happy birthday to Sarah Leanne Arnold, who took time out of their special day to perform & celebrate within this community. We are so greatful for their support & are honored that they chose to spend their birthday with us. 🎉

We are currently searching for new venues for our open mic & plan on continuing to share more of the incredible content captured at this year’s events in the meantime. So excited to see more of your amazing performances & to find new & exciting ways to continue this series!

Getting to know Grayson, during his time here in Omaha last fall, provided series director & creator Simon Clark the catalyst needed to launch this new mini-doc format.

Grayson’s ability to communicate his process, power to inspire those around him & philosophies on why we create made him the perfect subject for the first episode in this series.
