We may not have gotten two full matches — player safety is always most important! — but it was still incredible to see 43,067 people (A SELLOUT!) show up for women’s volleyball.

If you build it, they will come. (Sometimes humidity will too though, but I’ll never fault anyone for trying to grow this sport and put it in really dang amazing venues.)

Football season is here, so this week’s words for Meteorologist Matt Serwe had a very theme to them… and as always, he crushed it.

Runza Restaurants and nebraskamascots, hi.

Cheers to football season, pals!

Invite me for a walking tour of Memorial Stadium that ends with trying new concession foods and I’m there 😅

But I did enjoy learning more about the construction taking place outside of the stadium (pro tip: give yourself more time to get into the stadium this fall!) and the opportunity to try new concessions… I’m a big fan of the wings (but fyi, they’re spicy!).

Hard to believe football season is here, y’all 👀

Transparently, this week has been wonderful and exciting and overwhelming and scary.

This week I helped launch something new — 6 Zone Duo — and it’s been a lot, but certainly not a lot in a bad way. I just have found in life that sometimes I talk myself out of trying things and taking a leap of faith out of fear of losing.

But that’s what keeps you from winning.

And I want this to win, so here I am trying. Even when it feels overwhelming and scary ❤️

This one is in honor of Dolly and Tim… and Meteorologist Matt Serwe knocked it out of the park ❤️

Live from a high school football field, no less!

He *did* switch up one I gave him, but that’s OK. The Rocky Horror one was enough to forgive all 😏

What’s next??

Attended the inaugural Yelp Omaha Behind the Bite event at the Kiewit Luminarium and let’s just say I left very full and very happy 😄

But seriously. The space itself is so fun and interactive, but the local food and drink vendors made for an even more memorable night. It was a blast sampling so much from so many great spots all around Omaha!

I hope Yelp hosts this again, but I also know all of their events are a great time. 10/10, no notes. The best time.

My favorite t-shirts in Omaha are sold only one day per year and it’s at Dundee Day…

Say hello to CAMP DUNDEE, and specifically Tom — the man who makes it all happen. (But a shout out to his wife and kids who help a lot too!)

The key is to always get to the tent early (they sell out of sizes and when they’re gone, they’re gone!) but you won’t be disappointed so to whatever you snag.

Plus, you get to say hi to Tom! He’s the nicest around.

Dundee Merchants Association

Saturday is Dundee Day in Omaha, a favorite day of mine x100 😍

In honor, this week’s words for Meteorologist Matt Serwe payed homage to our beloved Dundee Merchants Association. I think he knocked it out of the park, imo. He always does.

Anyway, hope to see you there! (And leave suggestions for future forecasts, thanks bye!)
