Hey Gamechangers here
The best time of the year is all officially back! As another season of football kicks off with the NFL starting this weekend, all levels from kids and high school to then college and professional are all back to playing the ultimate team game.
In my playing days football taught me so many principles that I carried into my everyday life.
There is a choice to be made: Either accept the risk of leadership and be determined to be great and always remembered for what you chased after…or sit back, play it safe, and potentially miss the best opportunity you may ever have.
As a quarterback I was determined to CHANGE THE GAME and make my mark in in the film room, in every practice, training session and of course every game. See there’s a certain aura and swagger you have to have about you. I had a duty to step on the field and lead 10 other guys in the huddle. I had to look in the eyes of my teammates with confidence that we would not be stopped. I had to also have an intensity and presence about me that intimidated my opponent and let them know I’m here to fight.
I didn’t care what I had to do to win, whether it was my right arm, my running, or flat out hitting someone I was driven to make sure I was giving my all and left it all on the field.
The same goes in every day life. You can’t CHANGE THE GAME if you’re not willing to step out and accept the risk of leadership. Change is scary, but staying the same is scarier! In your life, don’t be content with choosing nothing or just sitting on the sidelines. Push yourself to embrace the opportunities the Lord gives you to step into the full plan that He has for you. Go be great for His Kingdom and intimidate the devil and the enemy forces in hell while you’re at it too!
