CELEBRATE Child Saving Institute's GRAND REOPENING AT THEIR COMMUNITY OPEN HOUSE ON FRIDAY, DECEMBER 12TH

ABOUT
Join Child Saving Institute (CSI) for their grand reopening community open house on Friday, December 12th from 4-6pm. With the Campaign for Hope expansion now complete, you can tour the newly renovated space, explore their programs, and learn how CSI champions what’s best for each child and family. This event is open to the public, and light refreshments will be provided while you explore!

SERVICES
With the completion of their capital campaign, CSI has expanded three program areas: Early Childhood Education, the Behavioral Health Center, and the Youth Shelter. They also license foster families, offer empowerment groups for survivors of domestic violence, and teach independent living skills.

Secret Park Omaha IS MAKING SPIRITS BRIGHT AND BOOZY WITH THEIR CHRISTMAS IN THE PARK HOLIDAY POP-UP, RUNING NOW THROUGH DECEMBER 31ST

Secret Park is making spirits bright and boozy with their Christmas in the Park holiday pop-up, running now through December 31st. Stop in for seasonal cocktails packed with flavor and all crafted with high-quality ingredients. They’ll also be hosting events throughout the season, including live music, so swing by, grab a drink, and enjoy all the nostalgic Christmas magic at Christmas in the Park this holiday season!

DRINK MENU
This pop-up is serving several handcrafted seasonal cocktails that will put you right in the Christmas spirit. We stopped in to check it out and tried the Peppermint Espresso Martini and the Holiday Mule, both were so good, and we definitely recommend ordering when you go!

EVENTS
Secret Park hosts events all year long. You’ll find comedy shows, live music, trivia, and even restorative yoga happening in their space. If you’re looking to host something of your own, including a holiday party, you can also rent out the lounge to host your next event, just head to secretparkomaha.com for more information!

JOIN THE HOLIDAY FUN AND CRAFT YOUR OWN ORNAMENT THIS SUNDAY, DECEMBER 7TH AT HobbyTown

MAKE YOUR OWN ORNAMENT
Join in on some holiday fun at Hobby Town this Sunday, December 7th, for the make-your-own Schleich ornament event. Stop by their La Vista location from 1-2pm and craft a unique ornament using Schleich supplies. Pick a globe ornament, choose from 20 different figurines, add white crinkle paper or mini snowflakes, and finish it off with ribbon or twine. All supplies will be provided by Hobby Town, so just stop in, get creative, and have some fun!

Lauritzen Gardens COMES TO LIFE AFTER DARK DURING BRIGHT NIGHTS, RUNNING SELECT NIGHTS THROUGH JANUARY 4TH

Bright Nights at Lauritzen Gardens is back through January 4th, transforming the gardens into a Nordic winter wonderland. On select nights throughout the season, explore the floral hall, conservatory, and Sofia’s Play Garden all lit up for the season. From a 20-foot-tall poinsettia tree to a glowing forest of wooden trees, it’s a fun way to enjoy the holidays with friends and family!

WHAT TO EXPECT
Stroll through dazzling light displays throughout the gardens, and check out Sofia’s Play Garden glowing for the very first time. Warm up with patio games, fire pits, and s’mores kits in the Family Chill Zone. On select nights, kids can visit Santa (and maybe the Grinch!). Family Fun Nights include model trains, crafts, stories, and entertainment. Food, drinks, beer, wine, and seasonal cocktails will also be available!

TICKETS
Reserved timed tickets are required for all guests. Members get discounted pricing and ticket prices vary by date. Limited day-of tickets may be available at a higher price. All tickets are non-refundable. Buy ahead at lauritzengardens.org.
