More severe storms are possible on Saturday with most of the area under a slight risk for severe storms.
Far southeast Nebraska will be under marginal risk though.
Look for the same hazards that we seen today.
Which basically the same hazard translates to large hail and damaging winds.
Expect overnight to be recovery for the atmosphere from tonight’s storms.
I’m not expecting as much sporadic but slightly scattered development tomorrow particularly due to the fact of the atmosphere trying to recover.
But depending on the time of day, if we get more evening, storms, expect a lot more isolated development.
Maybe with one, and if we get lucky two storms that are a lot more sporadic and scattered.
I know there’s a lot of talk that a lot of people say that Saturday and Sunday are gonna be the talkers for going into Monday.
I’m expecting Saturday to be actually the only loan day I’ll explain why.
Saturday is gonna show the type of atmospheric recovery that we’re expecting for the weekend even no matter that the weather could change in hours and minutes.
Why I say that is because we’re facing the same type of temperatures and similar type of weather patterns over the weekend and if Saturday does also as well a lot better than today we should expect a lot worse for Sunday and Monday.
Not to scare anybody, but there is a conversation had today with the interaction today, here in Omaha with the National Severe Storm Laboratory (NSSL), and they were discussing a similar conversation that I’ve been thinking about about how Monday depending on how Saturday and Sunday play could potentially become a moderate risk.
So Saturday is gonna be kind of like a preview of what we could expect into Sunday and then a Sunday is gonna be a well rounded severe storm day then Monday should be another.
