I've been thinking about 'The Tale of the starfish'. It's so easy to think that if we're not reaching thousands, we're not doing anything worthwhile. If we would all just walk with Jesus, stay on our path, help those He leads us to by leading them to Him, then so many would be reached!

The Tale Of The starfish

IT ALL STARTED WHEN…
A young girl was walking along a beach upon which thousands of starfish had been washed up during a terrible storm. When she came to each starfish, she would pick it up, and throw it back into the ocean. People watched her with amusement.

She had been doing this for some time when a man approached her and said, “Little girl, why are you doing this? Look at this beach! You can’t save all these starfish. You can’t begin to make a difference!”

The girl seemed crushed, suddenly deflated. But after a few moments, she bent down, picked up another starfish, and hurled it as far as she could into the ocean. Then she looked up at the man and replied,

“Well, I made a difference for that one!”

The old man looked at the girl inquisitively and thought about what she had done and said. Inspired, he joined the little girl in throwing starfish back into the sea. Soon others joined, and all the starfish were saved.

You have the best possible friend available to you. If you aren't already, talk to Him. Talk often. Talk honestly. Just talk.

Because He cares for you. And even if you think you've got it all figured out, you probably don't. But He knows everything, He's got your best interests at heart and He wants to take it from you. So let Him.

I never imagined I'd be doing a podcast. But all this time later and the Lord continues to share with me things He wants to share with you. I am humbled, honored and completely surprised that He chose me! This is part of the path that He chose for me and I will continue to walk in it, every step with Him. YOU have a path also. One that will make your heart happy in ways you never imagined! One that will make a difference, not only in your life but in the lives of others.

My path, your path - they are equally as important and amazing! I'll keep walking in who He created me to be. You keep walking in who He created you to be. And we'll all walk together with Him as our guide. What a glorious, glorious life it will be!

The Lord gave me the word 'consistent' for 2025; 29 days in, I'm still holding to it! Consistent in seeking Him daily. Consistent in reading His word. Not consistent in being perfect BUT consistent in listening to His instruction and His direction. That requires persistence. It produces steady, calm, peace. All the good things. HE is all the good things. 💖
