Round 2: OMAHA ENCAMPMENT ORDINANCE UPDATE
The Council delayed the vote until 10/21 @ 2pm at the request of Mayor Ewing to allow time to conduct a review with partner organizations serving the homeless community. Round 2 results provided to the Council on 9/30 from 159 participants:

71.24% Oppose
17.65% Support
11.11% Neutral

The Poll remains open!! The Ideologix Insights Lab Team will provide updated Round 3 results to the Council prior to the 10/21 scheduled vote.

The initial Round 1 results have already been provided to the Mayor & the 7 City Council just before last Tuesday's public hearing and our data was used by a local non profit. (Posted on our socials)

The final Round 2 updated results will be provided before this Tuesday's scheduled vote day. If the vote is delayed, the poll will remain open as long as the ordinance is live.

2️⃣ Senator Juarez's Nebraska Passenger Rail Interim Study
Closes: Tuesday, September 30th at 12pm
Area: State of Nebraska residents

Senator Juarez has concluded a series of 5 town halls across the state to visit with residents in person. The survey feedback will be compiled into a report for the Senator the first part of October.

Round 1 POLL RESULTS AS OF 9/22 @ 5pm were provided to the Mayor and 7 City Council Reps before the public hearing which took place on 9/23. 109 Omaha residents participated between 9/19 - 9/22.
