📚 Welcome back to my Hebrew learning series!

Today we’re exploring the letter Chet (ח), the eighth letter of the Hebrew alphabet.

It makes a guttural “ch” sound — like in Challah or Chanukah, not like “chocolate.”

✨ Cool fact:
Chet is actually made from two letters — Vav and Zayin — with a little line connecting them across the top.
It’s also the first letter in the word "Chai" (חי), which means life in Hebrew. That’s why you’ll often see this letter in Jewish jewelry, art, and blessings.

🎆 Happy 4th of July! 🇺🇸
Grateful today for the freedom to live and celebrate! Not everyone knows that I am a very patriotic girlie and I don’t take for granted our freedoms here for one second. This pic was me and Alex’s first fourth together! 🥹

We’ll be spending the evening with friends for Shabbat dinner! Excited to see all the fireworks around town tonight! Wishing you a joyful, safe, and peaceful holiday however you choose to celebrate.

I’m partnering with on their Stars, Stripes, & Small Businesses campaign to highlight a beloved Omaha gem: Bagel Bin 🥯🇺🇸

Bagel Bin is one of the only certified kosher restaurants in Omaha, and it’s been a staple in our Jewish community for years. I’m a total sucker for a poppyseed bagel (with schmear, of course), and I love supporting small businesses that matter to me and my community.

✨ Disney World Haul ✨

Back from the most magical place on earth, and of course I couldn’t leave empty-handed! Here's what I picked up:
😎 Early 2000s sunglasses with sparkly mickey mouses
📱 A MagSafe PopSocket for my phone that’s both adorable and functional
🪄 A few super cute T-shirts (because you can never have too many Disney tees, right?)
☕️ I forgot to film it but I also got a tiny but mighty Magic Kingdom espresso cup because starting the day with a little Disney magic just hits different
💌 A Lilo & Stitch postcard for my fiance (also not filmed)

Still dreaming of endless popcorn, fireworks, and castle views. 💫

✨ Last two days at Disney World! ✨

Started with a character breakfast at The Polynesian—Lilo, Stitch, Goofy, AND Mickey?! The kids were in heaven 🥹

Then we spent 2 days at Hollywood Studios!
Day 1: Star Wars takeover 🌌 My niece rode her fave ride 4 times and we got to meet CHEWBACCA (he’s HUGE).

Day 2: Toy Story Land fun 🎯 Cute rides, fun characters, and lunch at Woody’s Lunch Box (so good + super accommodating w/ our food restrictions 🙌).
Ended the day with a Forky dessert that my nephew thought was a real toy… so yes, we now own a real Forky toy 😂

Feeling all the Disney magic. So many sweet memories with my niece + nephew 🫶

Souvenir haul coming tomorrow!! 🎁✨
