FarmHer

FarmHer FarmHer is all about the women who love the land, care for their community, and feed the people. As owner/operators, land owners, workers, mentors and so on.

Women have always been an important but mostly undocumented aspect of farming. In recent years, women are rising to the forefront of agriculture in so many ways. As a woman who worked in the agriculture field for the past 11 years, Marji, the founder of FarmHer, feels our world is long overdue to start bringing images of women in agriculture into the mainstream. It is time to start documenting the

amazingly important role that women play in our agriculture system; providing food, giving to their communities and sharing with others. Follow the FarmHer journey as women in agriculture are documented through photography, television, events, and community.

Whirlwind is an understatement.

Kirbe catches up with her very first FarmHER Megan Shanley Warren of Shanley Farms this week on the pod.🎙️❤️

They dig into about what’s been happening since Kirbe visited Megan's produce farm in California to film the FarmHER Season 6 premiere (Kirbe’s first episode as host of the TV show) and there’s a lot to cover - from expanding the finger limes business to hosting the crew of Farmer Wants a Wife. (Megan’s brother-in-law Matt is one of the eligible bachelors this season!)

Be the one who remembers what matters.

Because banners fade and buckles tarnish. But the way you treat people? The way you treat your animals? That legacy lives on.

Be the one who still takes a moment to scratch your calf’s chin, or rub your gilt’s belly, even when you didn’t get a callback.

Be the one who claps when someone else’s name is called; the one who understands that someone else’s success in no way diminishes your worth.

Be the one who nods, who smiles, who offers respect on the walk back to the trailer, even when you’re tired; even when it’s been a long day.

Because this world—this industry we love—has enough comparison. Enough ego. Enough noise.

It needs people who choose gratitude over entitlement. Grace over gossip. Integrity over image.

We’re called to more than the next backdrop photo. We’re called to live out the faith we claim—even in the chaos, and especially when no one is watching.

So be the one who makes each place you inhabit better—one small act, one kind word, one genuine display of gratitude at a time.

Be the one who remembers what truly matters.

Our hearts go out to all those suffering, especially those who’ve lost loved ones - and our deepest gratitude to the first responders, companies and generous individuals banning together to support the flood victims.
