SNOW FORECAST: It's looking more likely that we'll see accumulating snow throughout the morning Saturday. Right now, it looks like 1"-2" of dry, powdery snow for the Omaha metro with higher amounts likely NE. Plan for travel impacts Saturday AM. Stay tuned!

Check out the update of some of the highest wind gust reports from this morning! Omaha peaked at 63 mph. Carroll 68 mph and Tekamah 67 mph.

High Wind Warning has expired, but the Omaha metro, and much of eastern NE and SW Iowa will remain under a Wind Advisory until 10:00AM. 40+mph gusts still possible.

Several 60+ mph gusts so far this morning include 62 mph gusts in Omaha and Council Bluffs. 68 mph is the highest so far in Carroll, IA!

A welcome warm up on the way Tuesday after a chilly start. Expect highs in the 50s this afternoon despite more clouds moving in. Enjoy the milder weather while we have it because it'll be short-lived! Strong cold front arrives tonight and NW wind ramps up into Wednesday morning.
