Eight years ago, I stepped away from the pageant stage and honestly wasn’t sure if I would ever return.

But after nearly a decade away, I’ve decided to take the leap and compete for Miss Nebraska USA 2026 this June. ✨

This season of life looks very different than the last time I competed. I’ve grown personally and professionally, become more confident in who I am, and learned to trust myself in ways I didn’t before. Coming back to pageantry feels both familiar and completely new at the same time.

I’m excited, nervous, grateful, and ready to give this experience everything I have. No matter what happens, I’m proud of myself for stepping back into something that once meant so much to me.

Here’s to new beginnings, big goals, and proving to yourself that it’s never too late to return to something you love. 🤍

Last day in Taiwan, and we did it right ☕️
Slow morning coffee, a climb up Elephant Hill for those unreal views, and then off to the airport with full hearts (and very full stomachs).

Taiwan, you were a dream 🇹🇼✨ Where do you think we are heading next?

Day 4 in Taiwan: a morning cycling tour through Taipei—quiet streets, temples, markets, and a perfect local breakfast 🚲✨

Tried to catch a Dragons game that night… postponed (after we got there, of course) ⚾️

Ended the day with xiaolongbao, shrimp fried rice, and Taiwan beer 🍻🥟
Sometimes the detour is the whole point.

Day 3 in Taiwan felt like a dream from start to finish ✨

From exploring the most unreal geopark, to waterfalls and quiet old streets… to writing our wishes on a lantern and sending it into the sky together 🤍

And ending the night wandering through Jiufen, glowing and tucked into the mountains—like something out of a movie

A bucket list day I’ll never forget.🫶🏼

Day 2 in Taiwan = absolutely unreal 🇹🇼✨

From wandering through ancient treasures at the National Palace Museum to standing in awe at the beauty of the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial and Liberty Square, it felt like stepping through history all day long. We caught not one but multiple changing of the guards (still not over it), took in the city from the top of Taipei 101, and explored temples and markets in between.

Midday highlight: an unreal lunch bouncing between street food and a sit-down spot — the perfect mix of local flavors and a little time to slow down (briefly 😅).

Ended the day still wandering and soaking it all in… Taiwan, you set the bar HIGH 💫

🇹🇼Night one in Taiwan: a rainy night market food tour led by a local guide who kept the hits coming—stinky tofu (still processing), scallion pancakes, fresh tea, mochi, and more snacks than I could keep track of. Soaked, stuffed, obsessed.🫶🏼

Last night was a powerful reminder that growth, leadership, and impact happen because of the people who surround and support you.
