Happy birthday to the voice of Exile. 🔥

All these years later, Philip Bozeman remains one of the true pioneering vocalists of deathcore, with an undeniable influence on the modern scene. His voice and work with Whitechapel helped shape the genre we know and love today.

Here’s to a legend. 🤘📸🤘

NEW SPIRITBOX JUST DROPPED. HOLD YOUR DRINKY AND GO LISTEN. 🥤🖤

Mourning. 📸 SPIRITBOX // Courtney LaPlante

So beautifully somber. Very Eternal Blue-esque. So fitting alongside tracks like Secret Garden, Eternal Blue, Constance, We Live in a Strange World, etc.

A beautiful song about loss. 🖤

A performance so visceral, you felt your guts being pulled out of you from the inside. 🧠🫀🪱📸 UNTHRONED

28 years ago today, KoRn Follow the Leader went No. 1.

Think about how fu***ng wild that is. An album that somehow embedded itself into the DNA of multiple generations of metalheads. Gen X, Millennials, Gen Z… chances are, this album touched your life in some capacity.

Freak on a Leash. Got the Life. It’s On. Dead Bodies Everywhere. All in the Family. You really couldn’t go wrong with this tracklist. And come on…I think we all get a good laugh out of Korn and Fred Durst calling each other names for four minutes. 😂

But if there’s one song on this album I think deserves special mention, it’s “Freak on a Leash.” I think part of why it has aged so damn well is that it isn’t just a great song. A lot of us weirdos in the metal community have felt like a freak on a leash at some point. Different. Misunderstood. Tethered to something we don’t quite fit into. That feeling is fu***ng timeless.

28 years later, Follow the Leader is still fu***ng iconic. 🖤

POV: You walk into a dark room full of madness. 📸🩸

Chad Gray passes you the mic and asks, “You want HELLYEAH or Mudvayne songs?”

You give him your answer.

He looks you dead in the eyes and says, “Psych! You get what we give ya.” 💀

And honestly? We wouldn’t have it any other way.

30 years of madness. 30 years of Chad Gray.

From MuDvAyNe to 𝐇𝐄𝐋𝐋𝐘𝐄𝐀𝐇 , Chad has spent three decades leaving his mark on heavy music, creating music that has shaped generations of fans, fueled countless pits, and given us songs that still hit just as fu***ng hard years later.

This tour is more than a celebration of a career. It’s a celebration of the music, the memories, the madness, and everyone who has been along for the ride.

Three decades in, and the madness is still very much alive. 🖤

30 YEARS OF MADNESS.

Every metalhead who grew up on Disney should attend at least one Disney rave in their lifetime. Especially when Drew Seeley, one of your childhood heroes, shows up as a guest. 😂📸

Thank you for having me, Bop To The Top and Michael Weber! 🫶

This is a follow-up to my Lorna Shore post from a few days ago.

I went back into Lightroom to see if I could salvage some of my other photos from that set. Miraculously, I happened to click in the right place and was able to completely transform these photos that were originally consumed by red light. I genuinely thought these were dead and unsalvageable.

When I tell people to hold onto your work and keep revisiting it, this is exactly what I mean. You never know what you’ll be able to restore once you learn new techniques or look at an old photo with a different set of skills.

So here’s some more Will, no longer consumed by dead light. 🖤

That’s also why I keep saying: when there’s a Will, there’s a way. ❤️‍🔥📸

On this day a year ago, if you’re an elder emo in Omaha, you probably remember Asking Alexandria coming through Steelhouse Omaha and absolutely fu***ng killing it.

A little trip down memory lane to a night full of massive guitars, big vocals, and the kind of energy that made the elder emos feel right at home. 🖤

And before anyone asks, nope, no lip syncing over here. 😂 Paul Bartolomé had no problem taking over those screams.
