The Huskers kick off their season tonight, and you better believe the energy in our office is high!

One of our own is taking the entire day off to mentally prepare for kickoff (we respect the dedication 💯), while another is already taking bets on whether Taylor Swift will be in attendance. Priorities? Impeccable.

With a few key 316ers out today, you could say the less dedicated fans are holding down the fort 😅 But don’t worry—we’ve still got red on, and the game queued up.

🚨 Instagram just added some new features… AGAIN! And it’s continuing to change the game, here’s what it means for your business.

We’ve been keeping up with Instagram’s updates. In just the last few months, they’ve:
📏 Changed sizing requirements
🎬 Added their video editing app
🚫 Added restrictions on who can go live
📊 Rolled out deeper insights for creators

And now these 4 new updates could open major new doors for reach, discovery, and connection… if you know how to use them.

1️⃣Reposts – Amplify & Be Amplified
You can now repost other public content directly to your profile with credit to the original creator.
For small businesses: Showcase customer content, share industry news, or highlight collaborators without creating from scratch. You’ll even see a separate tab on your profile for your feed, Reels, and Reposts.


2️⃣Friends Tab in Reels – Your Content, Their Network. Reels your followers like, comment on, or repost now appear in a special Friends Tab.
Why it matters: Your content can now be surfaced to your followers’ friends — a warmer, trust-driven introduction to your brand.

3️⃣Instagram Map – Location Meets Social Discovery
This is opt-in (no, it won’t automatically share your location — you must turn it on). It lets users share their location with friends and discover tagged places in real time.
