After falling for a funky new cocktail bar and restaurant on a date night in downtown Lincoln, Kate casually suggested it as their future wedding venue. The rest, as they say, was history.⁠

Brooke + Patrick’s wedding had the warmth & intimacy of a beautiful dinner party, with all the romance and elegance of a wedding day 🕯️⁠

Classic details, candlelit tables, a charming courtyard, and the glow of their closest family and friends made the evening feel warm, inviting, and incredibly personal. There was this lovely sense of everyone settling in, lingering over conversation, and simply enjoying being together to celebrate Brooke + Patrick.⁠

One of the sweetest moments came when the two of them stepped away for a private first dance on the historic brick, a quiet little pause in the middle of such a special evening 🤍⁠

Jennifer + Matt’s day felt like a natural extension of the garden itself. Sage green, dusty blue, soft natural light, and lush greenery set the tone to let the surroundings take center stage.⁠

More than anything, they wanted their people to be present for it all. Family photos were finished before the ceremony, the entire celebration stayed in one place, and the weekend was filled with time to gather, reconnect, and simply enjoy being together. A beautiful, garden-filled day with a very clear priority: making memories with the people they love.⁠

Mackenzie + Cory’s day was equal parts personal and beautiful. As Mackenzie put it, “Cory has these beautiful blue/green eyes, and I just love those two colors together, so that became the color palette!” From there, vintage brass and gold accents and a spring garden-inspired design brought the vision to life, with Mandy | Nebraska Wedding Florist filling the day with lush bouquets, a stunning ceremony arch, and even a waterfall of baby’s breath at the bar. ⁠
⁠
Butterfly Bakery created the watercolor-inspired cutting cake, along with a completely personalized three-tier groom’s cake featuring Cory’s favorite things and a photo from his proposal. Throughout the celebration, Wedding Paintings by Emerald Gleaves painted live portraits of guests, turning the experience itself into a keepsake.⁠

But our favorite detail is where their story began. Nearly 10 years before their wedding, Mackenzie took a photo at Roca Berry Farm beside a skeleton holding a sign that said, “Waiting for the perfect guy.” Ten years later, she returned to that same farm to marry her perfect guy 🥹⁠
