I wrote a giant book for Dungeons & Dragons. I'm working to get enough people to preorder their own copy (physical, digital, or both) to get it printed as a hardcover book people can use at the gaming table.

Kickstarter is a fundraising website where people can get something for financially backing the development of a project. In my case, it's a book that's already been written, edited, designed, laid out, and mostly illustrated, and backers will get the finished book. If the goal is not reached, backers pay nothing.

Greetings, all.

So, I wrote a 575-page, 430,750-word book for people who play or run Dungeons & Dragons games. Now I'm working on raising enough money to get it printed as a hardcover book and get it into the hands of those who will enjoy using it for their adventures.

I'd appreciate it greatly if you would share this post and/or the link (www.amethyst-dragon.com/book), so that if someone you know happens to know a D&D gamer, they'll have the chance tell that other person about the book.

I personally think it would also make a great Xmas gift for that roleplaying gamer you might know, so you don't have to think about what to get them when December rolls around.
