Yes, these Auroras that were seen all across the nation were beautiful, but they are far from natural. Did you know that there is a research team that is based out of Alaska that researches the earth's ionosphere? They are called The High-Frequency Active Auroral Research Program, also known as HAARP. It was announced that they were going to be conducting tests from May 8th- May 10th. The tests involved transmitting high-frequency radio waves into our upper atmosphere to test hypotheses of the detection of space debris and how this impacts weather patterns This comes operated from the Geophysical Institute at the University of Alaska.
