Sometimes the next big step is already closer than you think.

A kitchen update. Tuition. A major purchase. An unexpected expense. Life has a way of giving us both plans and surprises.

This week’s Monday Mention is Builtwell Bank, a local financial partner helping families and businesses think through what comes next—including options like a Home Equity Line of Credit that may help homeowners put the equity they’ve built to work.

We’re also celebrating Builtwell’s recognition by S&P Global as a top-performing community bank, a meaningful reflection of the work they continue to do throughout our region.

Because good banking isn’t only about numbers.

It’s about helping people move forward with confidence.

What’s one project or goal you’d love to make happen next?

Is networking better with coffee and horses? We’re about to find out.

The coffee is brewing, the horses are nearby, and one of our favorite mornings of the month is getting a little extra charm this September.

Join us for Coffee & Connections at Solia Farm—a relaxed morning where local business owners, entrepreneurs, community leaders, and neighbors can connect, share ideas, and build meaningful relationships.

No presentations.
No pressure.
Just good coffee, good conversation… and maybe a horse or two in the background.

Friday, September 25th
8:00–9:30 AM
Solia Farm
4407 Clonts Road
Apison, Tennessee

Whether you’re growing a business, hoping to meet more people in the community, or simply enjoy being part of something local, we’d love to have you join us.

Bring a friend.
Bring a few business cards.
Or just bring yourself.

Because some of the best connections begin with a simple conversation—and apparently, sometimes a farm view helps too.

Who’s joining us for coffee at Solia Farm?

Twenty-five years later, we remember.

We remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001.
We remember the courage of first responders, service members, and ordinary people who stepped forward in extraordinary ways.

We remember the families whose lives were changed forever.

And we remember how, in the days that followed, communities came together with a renewed sense of compassion, service, and care for one another.

Today, we honor those memories quietly and gratefully.

Never forgotten.

Aspen Morgan’s love for horses, learning, and steady hard work is already shaping a beautiful future. We loved sharing her story in August’s Young Achiever feature — and if you missed it the first time, give Aspen’s story another look.

Before we turn the page on summer… take another look.

The August issue of Stroll The Hamptons is filled with stories of perseverance, family, community, local businesses, young achievers, healthy living, and neighbors worth knowing.

At the center of it all was Holly Swinea’s incredible 50-state marathon journey — a story about determination, yes, but also about the family, memories, and support built along the way.

So pour another cup, flip through again, and spend a few more minutes with the stories that made this issue special.

Because some stories are worth revisiting before the season changes.

This is the part we never get tired of.

Seeing a story in print is special. Hearing what it meant to the people behind that story is even better.

These are your neighbors, your families, your milestones, and your memories—and it’s such a privilege to help preserve them beautifully.

Thank you for trusting Stroll The Hamptons with the stories that matter to you.

Because when a community shares its stories, we all feel a little more connected.

Today, we’re celebrating the people behind the places, services, businesses, and everyday moments that make our community feel like home.

The hands that build.
The people who care.
The businesses that open their doors each morning.
The neighbors who serve, create, repair, teach, lead, and show up.

So much of what makes Ooltewah and the greater Chattanooga area special is built through work that often happens quietly, one day at a time.

This Labor Day, we’re grateful for the people whose skill, dedication, and heart keep our community moving forward.

Here’s to meaningful work — and the people behind it.

Happy Labor Day from Stroll The Hamptons.

Our Wings & Wheels event at Collegedale Airport brought together planes, exotic and vintage cars, local food, family fun, community partners, and neighbors from across the area for an evening built around connection.

But the best part was what all of that energy came together to support.

Through local collaboration, the event helped raise awareness and support for Doing What We Can Homeless Outreach, reminding us that some of the most memorable community events are the ones that create impact long after the engines quiet down.

Thank you to everyone who showed up, partnered, participated, and helped make the day so special.

And judging by these photos… we think Wings & Wheels may have officially earned a comeback.

This is what community care looks like.

For more than a decade, The Samaritan Center has been helping neighbors navigate some of life’s hardest moments with practical support, dignity, and compassion.

Sometimes that means keeping the lights on.
Sometimes it means food during a difficult month.
Sometimes it means helping a family remain safely housed or making sure a child starts school with the supplies they need.

And behind every one of those moments is a team of employees, volunteers, donors, churches, businesses, and neighbors choosing to show up.

This month’s Making a Difference feature introduces us to the people and purpose behind that work—and reminds us that meaningful change is often built one practical act of kindness at a time.

Read the full story in the August issue of Stroll The Hamptons.

Every gift. Every hour. Every act of service. It all becomes hope for someone nearby.
