I’ve always been drawn to marketplace ministry because, to me, THAT’S where our light gets to shine in the darkness.

We get to work around people who might not know Jesus or be struggling in an area we have no clue about.

When I saw this quote from Billy Graham, I knew it was time for me to speak on this.

I believe many of us are called to entrepreneurship to pioneer something God has given us, using our business as a ministry to draw people to Christ.

I want to remind you that just because you aren’t teaching or leading in a church, or running a ministry, doesn’t mean that you can’t be used for the Kingdom of God!

As Holy Spirit led business owners, we have the ability to be images of Christ through the team we work with, as well as every customer/client we interact with.

It’s not just about saying I’m a Christian and looking like everyone else, but it’s about continually getting ourselves in the presence of the Lord, allowing us to live and walk out Christ’s love and power every day.

“Here’s another way to put it: You’re here to be light, bringing out the God-colors in the world. God is not a secret to be kept. We’re going public with this, as public as a city on a hill. If I make you light-bearers, you don’t think I’m going to hide you under a bucket, do you? I’m putting you on a light stand. Now that I’ve put you there on a hilltop, on a light stand—shine! Keep open house; be generous with your lives. By opening up to others, you’ll prompt people to open up with God, this generous Father in heaven.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭5‬:‭14‬-‭16‬ ‭MSG‬‬

I don’t want to pretend that I have this all figured out as what The Gathering should look like and how I should incorporate other aspects of what God is calling me to do into this.

I literally am figuring this out as I share this! I promised to take you on this journey with me and I’m sharing it real and raw, letting you in as God is doing this work in me.

But I know the Lord is also stirring something inside of me to help a smaller group of women who yearn to build their business with the foundation of the Lord and use the business for His glory.

Yall, I still am just sitting back and so thankful for and celebrating ONE YEAR! 🤯

We held our one year anniversary celebration at and Thursday night and it was such a great night

I’m so humbled and grateful to get to lead this amazing community of female business owners.

It is ONLY by God’s grace that this community is where it is today. Only He could create this community from nothing - especially when just moving here last year!

I’m so excited for what God’s going to do as we go into year two and then seeing what He will do through the relaunching of !

First photo: Shout out to the OG’s of The Gathering AO! + have been supporters since day 1! 🙌🏻

I wish I could shout out each person that has supported this community and supported me along the way because there are so many!

But for now, I’m just going rest and be grateful. ❤️

Happy Saturday everyone!

I’m getting this posted late, but I had the opportunity to go on today with and my goodness, I had the best time!

We talked everything from , motherhood, and getting real about decisions (and fear) when it comes to The Gathering AO. And I definitely cried at her question at the end.

I knew some tears were going to be shed at some point!

I’m so grateful for the opportunity to share a few of my stories and experiences with Charli, and I pray someone can get a little something out of it. ❤️

I’m personally so thankful for Charli, and the blessing she has been to me but also to so many others in The Gathering AO. She truly has a heart to help and serve women and to be their hype woman!!

Even after the interview was done, she talked through ideas with me and even encouraged me to do some things out of my comfort zone.

Thank you, Charli, for all that you do! Make sure to follow her (she’s a life coach!) and her podcast.

Cheers to great conversations and finding people who truly want to lift you up!

This summer, I made a quiet decision: I’m going all in on .

After starting and stopping my Elizabeth Ellen business a few times, I carried a lot of embarrassment about closing it down again. So I kept it to myself.

But the truth is—every time I shared about Instagram coaching vs. The Gathering, my joy, passion, and vision were crystal clear. The Gathering has always been where my heart comes alive, and I believe God is asking me to lean fully into it.

So I’m putting it out there officially! 😊

So here’s what’s changing:

This account will be shifting into something more personal—my journey of building The Gathering AO into not only a profitable business but a movement that supports women spiritually, emotionally, and in their businesses.

👉 You’ll see more behind-the-scenes.
👉 Honest shares about the good, the hard, and the in-between.
👉 Encouragement for your journey.
👉 And always—pointing back to Jesus, the true source of everything we need.

I know I may lose some followers in this transition, and that’s okay. My hope is that those who stay will feel encouraged, seen, and reminded that God is in every detail of your story, even when it often doesn’t feel like it.

So here’s to finally getting this out in the open and moving forward into what He’s calling me to. ❤️

8 years ago today, I launched Elizabeth Ellen Digital.

honestly, I debated on whether to even post anything about this.

I have no fancy metrics to report.
I haven’t built a team.
I don’t have a huge following on Instagram or any other social media platform.
I don’t have any true “success” as the world would see it.

But what I do have are experiences that have shaped me. I have failures that still put a pit in my stomach to this day, but also taught me valuable lessons. I have clients and events that I look back on with such joy and pride.

I have things that have shaped me that I NEVER would have had had I not taken a leap of faith to start my business.

As I’ve talked on here before… so much life has happened since June 12, 2017.

I got engaged.
I got married.
I had a baby.
Took time off.
Relaunched the business & pivoted
Started The Gathering.
Shut the business down for 3 years.
Took part-time jobs. Full-time jobs.
Pivoted. Restarted. Reimagined.

But through it all, one of the greatest blessings is that it revealed my deep passion for empowering women in business.
It’s led me to build The Gathering and The Gathering AO.
It’s shown me how passionate I am to walk alongside women navigating motherhood, marriage, and entrepreneurship.

This journey of entrepreneurship has been anything but linear. It’s been messy, beautiful, discouraging, redemptive, refining—all at once.

Today, I’m not celebrating 8 years of a business that looks how I once dreamed it would.
I’m celebrating 8 years of becoming.

To anyone who feels like their journey doesn’t “measure up” to what success should look like—
Let me remind you: Starting is worth celebrating. Continuing is worth honoring. Growing, even when it’s not visible, is still growth.

God has got you and He’s got me. We’re not behind or too old. He will never leave you or forsake you - especially when you are obedient to what He has called you to do.

Here’s to the taking the leap, to the messy process and becoming who God has created you to be along the way. ❤️

Yesterday I finished up my 90 Day Coaching with .t1d, and I’m not gonna lie, I’m sad to see this end!

From the day we met to discuss what this coaching package would look like, I knew we would be friends.

For those of you who don’t know Chrissy, she is a wife, mom, accomplished pianist, worship leader, piano teacher, and runner, just to name a few things.

She also has Type 1 diabetes and has a son with Type 1 diabetes. And this is the reason she reached out to me.

Chrissy started her account .t1d to help raise awareness to this disease and share the everyday ups and downs of life with t1d.

Her heart to support other women in similar situations perfectly aligned with my belief when we face struggles - that we are better when we do this together.

She shared her heart about reaching other women who have t1d and getting real and honest about topics that a lot of people don’t talk about.

She wanted other mamas to t1d kids to feel seen, understood and supported.

She wanted to share her passion for nutrition and fitness as she has learned how to eat to support her body and live as a runner and weightlifter with t1d.

She wants to be an advocate and example for her son so he will never have to feel limited in what he can do with this disease.

When she shared this with, I knew we would be a great fit!

And so for the past 3 months, we have met (almost) weekly and worked on growing her Instagram account but more importantly growing a community.

Here’s what she’s accomplished:
👉🏼Grew her followers by 100 people
👉🏼Increased her accounts reached by 145%
👉🏼Held an in-person event and partnered with where she brought together women with t1d and moms to t1d kids
👉🏼Created a private Facebook group for women with T1D and women with kids with T1D to stay connected and continue to grow their community
👉🏼Built an email list and sending out her first email soon!

I’m running out of space here, but I’m so grateful that the Lord brought Chrissy to me as a client and even more thankful to have her as a friend now. I can’t wait to see what the Lord does through her and on this community of T1D warriors!
