Well the expense report from this weekend is not looking good.

For those that don’t know, my car broke down 😖in the middle of 🏜️nowhere and hour away from any city and where I was heading. This was over 2 hours into my drive from my home.

I had to call roadside assistance⚠️, but since my tow was more than 10 miles I had to shell out $300 💰upfront before they would tow.

Now I was on the way to setup up my booth and work day 1 of the con and the car is fully loaded. After 🛻towing it to the dealership in Shreveport I had to rent a car to reload all my merchandise in which cost another 💰 $300! I was supposed to be setup by 4pm to work 5-9pm for the first day. I didn’t get to the hotel till 6pm, So I lost that work day.

I couldn’t setup for day 1 and feared I wasn’t going to setup for the whole con but luckily the people at Geek’d Con were nice and setup up the next day at 7am.

It was a long weekend…😫😴

Without the vehicle emergency it would have been decent and profitable.

Now the car cost from tow, to rental, and repair will now cost over💸💸💸 $6000! Yes $6k which I have had to borrow money, which I never do, to cover this. 🧎🏻‍♀️‍➡️💵🤴

Going forward especially when it comes to the store , I WILL sadly have to close🔒🚪…it is not what I wanted but I do have a child and family comes first.
I will finish out the year with the markets but I may not be able to continue next year.

I have poured my heart ♥️ and soul 😭into everything I am doing but life likes to hit hard.

I will be doing pop-ups around town so come show some support.
