Haunted or not - this one is not - one of my favorite places to be is a theater.

Although, it just gives me the itch to be back onstage.

How did you spend your New Year's?

Well, in a haunted theatre of course!

Built on the spot where a police station once stood, the Florida Theatre held its opening night April 8, 1927.

Many entertainers have graced its stage, including Ray Charles, Gregory Hines, Johnny Cash, and Elvis Presley.

Many staff have reported lights turning on and off, unexplained noises, footsteps, shadows, and a friendly spirit named "Jay."
Once a performer himself, it seems he loved the theater so much he decided to stick around even after death.

I visited the seats he usually occupies and found that one of them was down...could Jay have been visiting right at the same moment?

Part Two of my three-part series, "The Peterson Filers" begins the day the search ends and the questions multiply.
When Laci Peterson and her unborn son, Conner, are discovered, a grieving nation turns its focus squarely on Scott Peterson - but suspicion is not the same as proof.

From his arrest to a trial watched obsessively by the media, we examine the evidence, the inconsistencies, and the alternative theories that never fully disappeared.

As prosecutors and defense attorneys clash in court, this episode asks a haunting question: was the verdict the result of undeniable guilt, or a case shaped by pressure, perception, and a story the public had already decided to believe?

He was seen as the loving, grieving husband—soft-spoken, composed, and standing in the public eye as sympathy poured in.

But as the search continued, that same devotion was reexamined, shadows crept in, and Scott Peterson became the center of growing suspicion.

What followed was an unraveling that would leave a nation questioning where grief ends - and guilt begins.

Tune in this Tuesday for "Bodies in the Bay," the second episode of my three part series "The Peterson Files" to hear all about how Scott's behavior made him suspect #1, his arrest, trial, and the lingering questions that still divide the nation on the case.
