This gentle Hawaiian monk seal is still on a difficult road to recovery after the heartbreaking incident in Lahaina. Her body may be healing, but many who love and protect Hawaii’s wildlife believe the fear and stress she experienced should never be ignored.
Lani now rests longer. She moves more carefully. And she needs protection more than ever.
With fewer than 1,600 Hawaiian monk seals left in the wild, every single life matters. Every seal matters. Every act of protection matters.
