Hector (Puma) and Roxana (Akal) have walked a long medicine path! With deep humility, we come together for this weekend retreat to offer an experience unlike any other.

We are bringing Condor Medicine (Kambo Trilogy) and Eagle Medicine (Totecayotl- wisdom of self cultivation) into union, in the sacred depths of the Joshua Tree Desert.

Together, we’ll reconnect with ancestral foods, remember ancestral wisdom, and honor the elements that have always guided us!

Conexión con Cacao is an intimate family-friendly community offering and experiential gathering intended to hold space for our personal and collective healing.

We'll enjoy the grounding medicine of both Stinging Nettle and Cacao, gently encouraging us to open our hearts and soften our minds as we deepen connection not only to the spirit of these beautiful plant allies and teachers, but to our communities, ourselves, and the Earth who holds and nourishes us.

Join us for loving community dialogue, guided meditation, gentle movement, an herbal tea infusion, creative expression, healing soundscape, and guided heart connection with traditionally prepared ancestral cacao.

We'll come together to nourish mind, body, and spirit as we acknowledge and honor what's present and release any feelings of anxiety, grief, or heaviness we may be holding due to personal challenges, life transitions, or collective trauma and unrest.

Paige () and Akal (), invite you to gather in ceremony and experience the healing medicine of Kambo and medicinal plant allies!

Kambo facilitator Akal will guide you through a thorough detox with the sacred Kambo, a medicine that can purify the body of toxic substances and parasites, purify the mind and spirit of negative energy and imbalances, and increase overall endurance and well-being. Medicine woman Paige Emery will share medicinal tea to restore the body’s nervous system and adrenal health, guide a plant meditation to connect with herbal plant allies on a deeper level, and offer cleansing, protection, and blessings with plant limpias. Paige will share practices with herbal plant allies to support integration and nourishment in our daily lives outside of ceremonies. 🌱

Drum and Song workshop!

I'm thrilled to be sharing with you guys what I've cultivated and learned through the years working with the Ximalhuehuetl aka Hand Drum also known by other names like the Shamans drum, Journey Drum, and Medicine Drum.

(Ximalhuehuetl is the traditional name in the Nahuatl language)



The Hand Drum represents a lot of good things in the native cosmovision one thing the drum represents in most cultures is the heartbeat of Mother Earth. Also, we know instinctively the sound of the drum this is because when we were in our mother's womb for 9 months we heard her heartbeat.

Join us as we welcome the Shanenawa sisters Chief Edina and Mukany and their niece Txana Bazi with the Church of Original Instructions for a weekend of healing at a property in Los Angeles from October 25th to 27th and San Diego from November 1st to 3rd.

A message from Mukany Shanenawa: “Our journey as female leaders has been very challenging, men did not believe in our potential as women; they discriminated against us. Even so, we did not accept “NO” as an answer. We always sought to achieve our goals with our heads held high, conquering our spaces and showing other women that we are capable of overcoming the obstacles that cross our paths.”

During this tour, our community will have the opportunity to receive the sacred medicine and força feminina from the Amazon, nurturing a more profound connection with ourselves, with others, and with the planet.
