JOKE FARM DELIVERS BIG SEASON OPENER AT THE STEVENSON AUDITORIUM

If there were any doubts about the viability of premium clean comedy in the "Garden City," they were silenced Saturday night. Joke Farm, the burgeoning comedy brand co-founded by industry veteran Akintunde, delivered a masterclass in live entertainment for its 2026 season debut at The Stevenson Auditorium.
The night wasn’t without its hurdles. With scheduled performer Joel Byars bowing out just 24 hours prior due to the flu, the pressure was on. Enter Chris Ruppe, who filled the slot with seamless precision, joining a roster that included the sharp-witted Tanya Lewis and the explosive Antoine Scott.
The partnership between Joke Farm and the City of Orangeburg appears to be a winning bet for WF Media Group. With DJ Geechie Man providing the sonic backdrop to a "premium night out" atmosphere, the night felt less like a standard comedy club set and more like a major comedy event. If opening night is any indication, the Joke Farm/Stevenson partnership is poised to be a cornerstone of South Carolina's 2026 entertainment calendar.
