As measured by the Santa Barbara County weather station on Foster Road, the current rainfall total from Thursday through Monday morning is 3.63 inches bringing the yearly amount of rain since September 1 to 9.09 inches.
We are already at over half the annual rainfall average of 13.7 inches per year. Rain is expected to taper offer today and another storm is expected Thursday.

By Saturday afternoon, according to the county weather station on Foster Road, this storm has brought us 2.25 inches of rainfall. The chances of rain decrease to about 60% by Sunday afternoon.

The Orcutt Fa La La awards celebrates its lucky thirteenth year of holiday cheer as homes throughout Orcutt are decked with boughs of lights for the seasonal celebration. The Orcutt Pioneer is looking for the best holiday light displays. If you would like to nominate yours or a neighbor’s home, e-mail our judging team at [email protected]. A busy Saturday at Oasis November 8. The monthly Oasis Center breakfast from 7:45am to 10am and then the annual Christmas Marketplace with bakesale, artisan crafts and raffle.
