Happy to report... Dusty has been adopted!
I want to introduce our new bestie Dusty! He needs his forever home! So if that's not you, please share!
He is the SWEETEST boy you'd ever meet.
๐ช Kids? โ
๏ธ Loves them!
๐ Cats? โ
๏ธ Kind & Respectful!
๐ Other dogs? โ
๏ธ Tolerant & Playful!
We have a LOUD, CRAZY house, with loud crazy kids, and a loud crazy border collie. He doesn't care. All he cares about is having people to love, and a soft place to lay his head.
He's a 2.5 year old cattle dog mix, and didn't have the most gentle start to his life. He was surrendered to the shelter 6 months ago, and I can tell you, this dog doesn't belong there. (Not that any do!)
๐โ๐ฆบ a DREAM on the leash! No pulling, even the 9 year old can walk him.
๐ซ a big cuddle bug and is so excited to get invited up on the people bed in the morning
๐ food motivated and trainable. Already will "Sit & "Lie Down"
๐ great in the bath!
๐ not your average cow dog! Super chill and laid back. Low energy, doesnโt need a lot of physical stimulation. Does great in our small apartment.
Because of his past he has some anxiety that means he will jump fences if given the unsupervised opportunity, and he needs some time and patience before you can expect to leave him alone, or use things like kennels/crates.
He's available through Santa Barbara County Animal Services his ID number is . If you are interested in him you can contact our amazing volunteer foster coordinator Victoria Feld at [email protected] or message me of you wanna come meet him while he's hanging out with us. He will also be at Petsmart in Santa Maria from 12-2 pm on Saturday.
