Genesis 17:3
“And Abram fell on his face, and God talked with him.”
📌 “Fell on his face” = full prostration (the same position Muslims use in sujood).

Exodus 34:8
“And Moses made haste, and bowed his head toward the earth, and worshipped.”
📌 Moses put his head to the ground in worship — exactly the same posture.

Matthew 26:39
“And he (Jesus) fell on his face and prayed…”
📌 This is a direct description of Jesus praying with his face on the ground — identical to Muslim prayer.

Qur’an 2:133
“…We worship your God and the God of your fathers—Abraham, Ishmael, and Isaac—One God. And to Him we submit.”
Not only does the verse mention following the faith of Abraham, but the Qur’an is full of references to prostration (sujood):
Qur’an 22:77
“O you who believe! Bow and prostrate and worship your Lord…”
Qur’an 48:29
“…you see them bowing and prostrating, seeking the bounty of Allah…”
📌 This confirms that Muslims worship through rukū‘ (bowing) and sujood (prostration) just like the prophets.
