I was ONE pineapple slice away from the perfect griddle dessert… 🍍😅

This pineapple upside-down cake had everything going for it. Pineapple juice in the batter, butter, brown sugar, cherries, and a beautiful golden finish straight off the griddle.

Then came the flip.

I got hung up on a pineapple ring, attempted a double-spatula save, and watched my masterpiece turn into a delicious disaster in real time. 🤦‍♂️

The good news? Looks don’t matter when it tastes this good. We piled it onto plates, added a scoop of ice cream, and every last bite disappeared.

Sometimes the best recipes come with a little chaos. 🍍🍒🍦

The best thing cooked on the Traeger Irontop Griddle tonight wasn’t the fajitas—it was the memories. 🌮🔥

My daughter flipped tortillas, my son learned how to cook chicken, and together we turned a simple fajita night into one of those evenings you never forget. Peppers, onions, pineapple, and plenty of laughs made this one a winner.

Good food. Great kids. Perfect night.

Steak night just got a little more glamorous. 🥩✨

We fired up some porterhouse steaks and kept it simple with the new Golden Steer Marilyn Monroe 100th Birthday Celebration Salt, called Showgirl. Sometimes all a great steak needs is quality beef, live-fire charcoal, and a perfectly flaky finishing salt.

We started with an indirect cook over charcoal, then flipped the grate over the hot coals to build that beautiful crust. The result? A juicy, tender porterhouse cooked exactly how we like it—right in that medium to medium-well sweet spot.

That flaky salt brought out every bit of beefy flavor and turned an already incredible steak into something worthy of a celebration. 🍽️

And of course, no steak night is complete without paying the dog tax. 🐶🥩

If you’re a steak lover, this limited-edition salt is definitely worth trying.

🔥 SPICY PULLED PORK SLIDERS WITH TRUFF HOT SAUCE 🔥

If you’re looking for an easy pulled pork recipe that brings BIG flavor, this one is a must-try. I grabbed a bottle of Truff Black Truffle Hot Sauce from Sprouts, coated my pork shoulder, added my favorite taco seasoning, and let the smoker do the work.

The secret? A little Truff in the pan with chicken broth while it cooks, then another hit when wrapping. The result is smoky, juicy, spicy pulled pork with a rich black truffle flavor that takes these Hawaiian roll sliders to the next level.

Once it’s probe tender, mix that flavorful cooking liquid back into the meat until it’s exactly how you like it. Add one more drizzle of Truff, stack it on a slider, and prepare to disappear for a few minutes. 🤤

Apple Pie Peach Ham might be the most dangerous ham I’ve ever made…

Have you ever had apple pie ham? Now take it up a notch with apple pie + salted peach caramel Glaze 😮‍🔥

We started with a Harman’s spiral-cut ham, coated it top to bottom in Lane’s BBQ Apple Pie Ham Glaze Kit, and yes… not a single grain of that rub went to waste. The extra seasoning went straight into the pan for moisture/water pan while this beauty went on the smoker for a double smoke.

Then came the glaze: butter + brown sugar + salted peach caramel. Absolute Picasso-level food art 🎨🔥 Sweet apple pie notes, rich peach caramel, and that smoky finish came together perfectly. And the best part? This was stupid easy—just heat, glaze, smoke, and slice.

If you’re looking for a next-level holiday ham, backyard showstopper, or an excuse to double smoke everything you own… this is it.

Turkey tenders just got a serious glow-up .

We love the Turkey tenders from Diestel Family Ranch. Cooking them in the bag makes it so easy but I wanted to try something different, BBQ Skewers.

Greek yogurt + olive oil + Golden Steer Table 40 = the juiciest smoked turkey skewers we’ve ever made. Brushed, smoked to 162°, rested to finish, and sliced like BUTTER. This one instantly made the weekly rotation.

Your dad is going to be saying “That’s Money” - TFTI

The Diestel Family Ranch Father’s Day Turkey Pack is loaded with turkey legs, thighs, and necks—everything needed for a backyard feast worthy of a legend.

I kept it simple: removed the skin (preference), hit the legs with avocado oil and TFTI Spicy Garlic Cajun Rub, then smoked them low and slow at 225°F until they hit 180-185°F internal.

The finishing move? A generous glaze of your favorite BBQ sauce. Sticky, smoky, tender, and packed with flavor.

Whether Dad’s the grill master, smoker king, or just loves great food, this is the kind of Father’s Day gift that creates memories around the table.

🔥 Smoke it.
🍗 Sauce it.
