Guide to the National Parks in Utah & Arizona 🌵🏜️

Zion NP – this was beautiful, but my favourite part was hiking The Narrows - a walk through water for 8km. It was such a refreshing experience, and I loved every second of it. (I think we did 3/4km of it.)

Bryce Canyon NP – come here for sunrise and get straight onto Queens Trail. It’s quiet, and the colours in the sky from the sunrise are unreal. It was nice to walk the trail with little to no one else there.

Capitol Reef NP – it was very hot when we got to this NP, so I didn’t explore to the end of both trails we started. The Grand Wash was my favourite trail due to the beautiful rocks that followed either side of us. Had a lovely swim in the stream after not showering for 2 days 😬

Arches NP – finally got to see an arch after my failed attempt from the day before. I feel like the photo doesn’t show how truly enormous this was. I was supposed to go exploring more while Cam did a run, but I didn’t and regret it now. I will have to come back.

Canyonlands NP – I wasn’t going to make the same mistake as I did at our last NP, so while Cam went running, I drove around and did heaps of the smaller trails in the park.

Grand Canyon NP – we drove from the north to the south side of the canyon. I did a run along the edge of it, and it was probably one of my favourite runs to date. Getting to see the view most of the time on the Rim Trail was incredible.

⭐️Bonus⭐️
Near Arches NP, just outside the town of Moab, there were two places I went that were so beautiful I had to mention them. The first is Corona Arch (front cover photo). This was amazing at sunrise, and no people were hiking that morning. It was a 4.5km intermediate hike (there were a few climbing bits).

And lastly was the Colorado River, which I ran along at sunrise, and it was so lovely.

We are exploring the West Coast next, so send me some National Park recommendations 😍
