What’s a money dance? In Spanish, we call it "El baile del billete,” and this ritual symbolizes good luck and abundance! Traditionally, wedding guests will pin dollar bills to the bride and groom’s dress and suit in exchange for a dance.
It’s become less common to keep cash in your wallet, but that doesn’t mean we can’t keep this tradition alive! We recommend creating a sign with the couple's Venmo for all who want to participate. While it’s nice for the newlyweds to have a little extra cash as they start their new life together, this dance is more about creating memories and sharing a dance with all their loved ones.
