Here’s a tricky challenge, can you tell who’s who? 👀 One is American actor Corey Stoll & the other is Jeffery Hammond, an Utah Valley local who started . Leave your guesses below in the comments! ⬇️

Q&A with Corey Stoll’s lookalike Jeffery Hammond! ⬇️
UV: Who first told you that you looked like Corey Stoll?
Jeffrey: It was a guy at the gym. He came in and called me Corey and I was so confused. He was like, “The guy from ‘Billions.’” As soon as he called me Corey, everybody started telling me I looked like Corey Stoll. To the point where I had to remember Corey’s name for when people said “You look like that one guy.”

UV: What has been your best/funniest experience being a Corey Stoll lookalike?
Jeffrey: I have patients that come in and say, “You look like that guy.” He’s the kind of actor where people know who he is, but they don’t at the same time.

UV: What is your favorite film that Corey has done?
Jeffrey: “Ant-Man.” I should have been his stunt double for that movie.

UV: If you had Corey’s life for a day, what would you do?
Jeffrey: I hope he has a personal chef and personal trainer, and I would use both.

✨Fun Fact: Jeffrey started Hammond Foot & Ankle in February 2024. Inspired by his own recovery after crashing in a triathlon, Jeffrey was around a lot of foot and ankle injuries. Now, he gets to help others heal and look good for his job.✨

Utah Valley! The Holy War is TOMORROW! 🏈
BYU vs. Utah kicks off at 6 PM at LaVell Edwards Stadium, where every “down, set, hut!” will echo across the valley. 🙌🏼 This is one of the fiercest rivalries in all of college football — and both teams are coming ready for battle. With ultimate bragging rights on the line, this is one game fans will not want to miss! 🙌🏼💥

Imagine a T-rex, Superman himself, and a ghost chasing you down a canyon — and no, it’s not a dream. ✨It’s The Provo Haunted Half-Marathon. Costumes are highly encouraged, and the 13.1-mile run through the scenic (and slightly spooky) canyon is anything but ordinary. 👻 Whether you’re dodging muscle cramps or dashing through eerie alleys, the Haunted Half is a fun (and healthy) way to celebrate Halloween.

✨Teacher Tuesday Spotlight: Fidias Penate at Freedom Preparatory Academy✨

💃🕺 On Valentine’s Day in Mr. Penate’s 3rd grade class, there’s no candy or crushes — just sweaty palms and Sunday bests as students learn to waltz.

Teaching dance is personal for Fidias Penate, whose family is filled with performers (yep, even a World of Dance perfect 10 and a young Jesus in famous The Christ Child video👏). But his biggest spotlight moment? Watching students step out of their comfort zones and love it.

Teaching wasn’t his first plan — he was an engineer. But when life rerouted him to the classroom, he discovered something more fulfilling than any blueprint: purpose.

Now 12 years in, he teaches more than math or reading. He teaches kindness, courage, and the power of seeing others.

“Education is how we make the world better,” Fidias says. And in his classroom, that change starts one waltz, one story and one act of kindness at a time. ❤️🌍

⭐️ Celebrity look alike! ⭐️

UV: When did people start telling you that you looked like Amanda Seyfried? 👀✨
Lizzy: I started getting told I looked like her in high school. I now post singing videos on social media 📱, and whenever I sing “Mamma Mia!” songs 🎶, people say I look just like her. Some people even think I am her.

UV: What is your favorite movie she’s done? 🎬
Lizzy: “Mamma Mia!” for sure. 💃I love that one.

UV: What is something you have in common with Amanda? 🎭
Lizzy: I love to sing and act 🎤🎬. That is what I’m hoping to do. I’ll be at Utah State in the fall studying musical theater.

UV: If you had Amanda’s life for a day, what would you do? 🤔
Lizzy: I think I would have to call up the “Mamma Mia!” producers and have them make another movie. 🎥🍿

✨ Fun Fact! Lizzy shares her talents with over 200,000 followers across TikTok and Instagram. 📱🎶 She posts singing videos of musical theater, Disney, and more. 🎭

🏈Chase-ing Greatness🏈

Utah Valley native Chase Roberts is earning national praise while keeping his heart close to home. From his SportsCenter Top 10 catch in 2023 to his diving 30-yard grab that fueled BYU’s win over Utah last year, Chase Roberts is a key player on the BYU football team. 🙌🏼

⭐️Q&A⭐️
UV: What do you feel your role is on the team this year?
Chase: I strive to be the best leader I can be, on the field and off. I’ve been in the program for a long time and understand the culture. Making plays is certainly part of that leadership and that takes work, which I’ve tried to lead out in training, too. Off the field, though, it’s about putting my arm around all the guys and making sure they’re at a good spot in their lives. It’s reminding them of their roles, worth, and who they are.

UV: Why BYU?
Chase: As a sophomore, I received an offer to play here and I committed on the spot. I just knew that this was the place I wanted to be. Over time, I understood more about why this place is special. Being able to see kids after games and recognize the impact for good we can have on the younger generation is amazing. Our mission is to be a light to the world. In order to do that, we need to win games. We might not always have the fastest or biggest players, but we’re going to win because we have extra motivation.

UV: What’s it like to run out of the tunnel on a late-night home game?
Chase: It’s those moments when I realize how grateful I am to be here. And it’s about more than the 56,000 people in the stadium; it’s about the millions of people who love this team. I feel people watching us from heaven. I think of all of the Cougar fans that just love to watch us play. This is a special place.

✨Doing good in Utah Valley✨

When it comes to taking action, the women at get things done. From packing period packs for students in need, to advocating at the Capitol, to educating on child sexual abuse prevention — change happens when they step in.

Through five pivotal bills passed in Utah’s legislature 🙌🏼, The Policy Project has built Teen Centers in nearly half of Utah’s high schools, made period products available statewide, limited phone use in classrooms, provided free school lunch for K–12 students most in need, and child sexual abuse prevention education will be available for all K–6 students. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼And they’re just getting started. “Real change happens brick by brick,” says founder Emily Bell McCormick.💪🏼😁

✨Teacher Tuesday Spotlight: Glen Westbrook at Orem Jr. High✨

🧪After 30 years in the classroom, Glen Westbroek still brings the pep, the passion — and the dad jokes. ⚡🐞 (“They should bring back the Volkswagen Beetle as an electric car… and call it the Lightning Bug.”)

From inspiring a future nurse who once thought science wasn’t for her, to coaching fellow teachers, to greeting every student at the door with a smile and a compliment — Glen’s classroom is where curiosity and kindness collide. 💙

Biology, special ed, 3D printing, PLC coaching… he wears many hats. But his favorite role? Champion for every student who walks through his door. 👏

Recently honored with the Accent on Excellence award, Glen proves that when you love what you do, it shows — in the science, in the smiles, and in the students who will never forget him. ✨
