A recent Deseret News article has reignited an important conversation after a podcast critiquing the beliefs of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints was released without a faithful Latter-day Saint participating in the discussion.
That raises an important question:
Can any faith tradition be fairly represented if its own believers aren't part of the conversation?

🚨TRUMP’S 14-POINT IRAN DEAL WAS JUST REVEALED… (DANIEL’S PROPHECY WARNS WHAT COMES NEXT)🚨

President Trump just signed a new Memorandum of Understanding with Iran, and while many people are focused only on the politics, the oil markets, the Strait of Hormuz, and the midterm election implications, I believe there may be something much deeper happening beneath the surface. 🌍🛢️

According to public reporting, this MOU is not the final treaty. It is an interim framework designed to open the Strait of Hormuz, lower economic pressure, create a 60-day negotiation window, and potentially move toward a final agreement that could be endorsed by a binding UN Security Council resolution. That last detail should make serious students of prophecy stop and pay attention. 👀

Daniel 9 speaks of a covenant being confirmed “with many.” Daniel 11 describes a ruler who comes in peaceably, uses flatteries, and then works deceitfully after the league is made. Anciently, many readers connect that pattern with Antiochus Epiphanes, a ruler who did not merely attack Jewish land, but tried to crush Jewish covenant identity, temple worship, sacrifice, Sabbath observance, and the visible marks that Israel belonged to God. 🕍📖

So the question is not whether this MOU is automatically the covenant of Daniel 9. I do not believe we should say that. The real question is whether this MOU may be setting the table for something that later becomes much more serious. ⚠️

Politically, this agreement may be a temporary Trump stopgap to get oil moving through the Strait of Hormuz, calm global markets, and push the hardest Iran questions until after the next political window. But prophetically, temporary agreements can sometimes become the architecture of larger structures. That is why this matters. 🧩

In this episode, we examine the MOU from both angles: the conservative political concern and the prophetic pattern. Iran receives time, economic breathing room, oil waivers, possible frozen asset relief, and movement toward sanctions relief, while the nuclear issue, ballistic missile threat, Hezbollah, Lebanon, and Israel’s security remain deeply unresolved. 🚨

We also look at why Antiochus matters for Latter-day Saints. The Church Bible Dictionary says Antiochus tried to crush what was distinctive about Jewish nationality and worship. Daniel’s prophecies move from kings and armies to covenants, sanctuaries, sacrifice, Jerusalem, and the holy place. That is why we must watch the temple. ⛪🕯️

The Church Bible Dictionary also teaches that the abomination of desolation was fulfilled when Roman legions under Titus laid siege to Jerusalem in A.D. 70, and that it will be fulfilled again in the last days. It says plainly that Jerusalem will again be under siege. That means Latter-day Saints should not shrug when a major Middle East peace framework suddenly involves Iran, Israel, Lebanon, nuclear material, sanctions relief, the Strait of Hormuz, and a possible binding UN Security Council resolution. 🏛️⚔️

This is not about fear. It is about watchfulness. It is not about forcing prophecy onto every headline. It is about recognizing patterns the Lord already told us to watch. 🙏

When the nations begin speaking the language of peace and safety, we should pray for peace with all our hearts. We should never desire war or become casual about human suffering. But we should also remember that the only peace that can truly save the world is the peace that comes through Jesus Christ. ✝️🕊️

Diplomats may sign agreements, nations may pass resolutions, markets may recover, and ships may move again through the Strait of Hormuz, but only Jesus Christ can establish Zion, cleanse the earth, and protect His covenant people when man-made peace proves too weak to hold. ✨

ELDER CAUSSÉ JUST POINTED TO 2030… THIS IS HUGE! 👀🔥

Elder Gérald Caussé just delivered one of the most fascinating devotionals of his new apostolic ministry — and what began as a message about the Restoration quickly became something much bigger.

In this episode of Rise Zion, we examine Elder Caussé’s June 14, 2026 devotional and the urgent spiritual pattern he placed before the Saints: the Restoration is not merely a sacred event behind us. It is still unfolding, still expanding, and according to Elder Caussé, it will continue “until the Savior returns to reign personally on this earth.”

That sentence changes the whole frame.

Elder Caussé did not simply speak about Church history. He connected the ongoing Restoration to President Russell M. Nelson’s prophecy that “in coming days” we will see the greatest manifestations of the Savior’s power the world has ever seen. He also connected it to Elder Gary E. Stevenson’s statement that this decade will include “seminal events,” extraordinary opportunities to serve, and a chance to introduce The Church of Jesus Christ to more people than ever before.

And then he pointed directly to 2030.

Why does 2030 matter? Elder Caussé identified it as a remarkable convergence: the 200th anniversary of the publication of the Book of Mormon and approximately the 2,000th anniversary of the Savior’s mortal ministry. His words were striking: “This convergence will provide a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.”

That is not casual language.

Today we explore why this devotional may be one of the clearest windows yet into how the Brethren are thinking about the years immediately ahead. I am not saying Elder Caussé set a date for the Second Coming. But I do believe he gave us a powerful apostolic invitation to prepare for an unprecedented decade — one connected to the ongoing Restoration, sacred anniversaries, global witnessing, and the return of Jesus Christ. 🌅

We will also look at why so many cultures and religions seem to be watching the late 2020s and early 2030s with unusual anticipation. Christians are looking toward the 2,000-year anniversary of Christ’s ministry. Muslims await the return of Isa. The Lakota received the 2024 white buffalo calf as blessing and warning. Hindu, Buddhist, Zoroastrian, and Bahá’í traditions also carry expectations of renewal, judgment, restoration, or a promised figure.

These traditions do not all agree. But the pattern is fascinating.

Why are so many peoples watching the same horizon?

From a Restoration perspective, that may not be coincidence. The Lord has been speaking to nations, cultures, prophets, servants, and seekers for thousands of years. And now, as Elder Caussé reminds us, the fullness of the Restoration must be carried forward by a generation chosen for this remarkable time.

This is not just a video about 2030.
This is about preparation.
This is about the ongoing Restoration.
This is about the greatest manifestations of the Savior’s power.
And this is about whether we are ready to become visible, faithful, and courageous witnesses of Jesus Christ. ✨

🚨 A GENERATION IS THINNING AT BOTH ENDS... IS THIS A SIGN BEFORE THE SECOND COMING? 🚨

I don't claim to have all the answers.

But I do believe President Oaks gave us an important warning when he said our values and practices should "improve—not follow" the world's trends.

The question is not simply what the statistics mean.

The question is what we will do about them.

⚠️ WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU HEARD HIS WHISPERS? 🕊️
A question asked during a recent stake conference has stayed with me:
"When was the last time you heard His whispers?"
Not years ago.
Not once upon a time.
Not as a distant memory.
But recently.
In this episode of Rise Zion, we examine a remarkable stake conference report where multiple Church leaders emphasized a common theme: learning to recognize the voice of the Lord before moments of trial, confusion, or spiritual uncertainty arrive.
Again and again, the message pointed to the same pattern:
📖 Study the scriptures
🙏 Pray with real intent
🍞 Worthily partake of the sacrament
🕊️ Seek the companionship of the Holy Ghost
❤️ Obey the promptings you receive
One leader warned about the danger of spiritual casualness—not rebellion, but slowly drifting away from the habits that teach us how heaven speaks.
Another promised that serious study of the Book of Mormon brings "safe passage."
Safe passage through what?
Deception.
Confusion.
Temptation.
The challenges of the last days.
President Nelson has repeatedly taught that spiritual survival requires the constant influence of the Holy Ghost.
That makes this question more important than ever:
If the Lord whispered to me today, would I recognize His voice?
The Lord is not preparing His people to be fearful.
He is preparing them to hear Him.

🚨 THE CHURCH ASKED MEMBERS TO LEARN A SECOND LANGUAGE IN A SPECIFIC AREA... WHY NOW? 🚨

What if one of the most important preparations for the Second Coming isn't what most members think it is?

In this fascinating Superior Saturday episode, we examine a remarkable report sent in by a listener from Texas. According to the letter—and supported by a copy of the actual instruction sent to multiple stakes—members in parts of Houston and San Antonio were encouraged to begin learning a second language.

Not just missionaries.

Not just youth.

Members.

Why?

Why now?

Why was no specific language singled out?

And what does this have to do with the gathering of Israel?

As we examine this intriguing report, we explore a prophetic theme that appears throughout scripture: the gospel must go to every nation, kindred, tongue, and people. Language has always been connected to the Lord's work. From the miracle of Pentecost to the gift of tongues in the Doctrine and Covenants, communication across cultures has been a vital part of gathering God's children.

We also discuss President Dallin H. Oaks' October 2025 General Conference message, "The Family-Centered Gospel of Jesus Christ," where he mentioned learning languages as a worthwhile family activity. Could there be more significance to that counsel than many of us initially realized?

The listener also raises a fascinating possibility: perhaps learning languages is connected to family history, temple work, and the spirit of Elijah. How many ancestral records remain unopened because no one in the family can read them? How many names remain hidden behind language barriers?

We then explore an important principle from the Parable of the Talents. What if the Lord is asking His covenant people to increase their capacity? What if learning another language is not merely about vocabulary, but about becoming more useful in the Lord's hands as the gathering accelerates?

President Russell M. Nelson learned Mandarin Chinese long before he became President of the Church. At the time, he likely could not see every future blessing that would result from that effort. Yet his willingness to prepare opened doors of friendship, trust, and influence that blessed countless lives.

The Lord often prepares His people before they understand why.

Noah built the ark before the rain.

Joseph stored grain before the famine.

The wise virgins gathered oil before the midnight cry.

Could language learning be another example of preparation before understanding?

Whether this instruction is unique to Texas or part of a broader pattern, it raises an important question for all of us:

What capacity is the Lord asking us to increase right now?

What talents have we buried?

And how is the Lord preparing His covenant people for the gathering of Israel before the return of Jesus Christ?

🚨 THE CHURCH JUST RELEASED NEW SUNDAY GUIDELINES… IS THIS SECOND COMING PREPARATION? 🚨

The Church has released its brand-new Sunday Worship Implementation Guide, and according to Church leaders, this is "more than a schedule change."

But what does that actually mean?

For the first time since the introduction of the two-hour block, Latter-day Saints are preparing for another major shift in how Sabbath worship is organized. Weekly Sunday School. Weekly Relief Society and Elders Quorum. A completely new rhythm for youth instruction. A renewed emphasis on home-centered gospel learning.

Many members see a scheduling adjustment.

I believe there may be something much bigger happening.

RELIGIOUS FREEDOM IS BEING TESTED — AND LATTER-DAY SAINTS SHOULD PAY ATTENTION 🇺🇸🙏

A national prayer event recently gathered thousands on the National Mall for America’s 250th anniversary — but Reuters reported that several major religious groups were absent from the platform, including Latter-day Saints.

That detail matters.

This episode is not about outrage. It is about a much deeper question: who gets to define religious America? Who gets invited into the public Christian circle? And why do Latter-day Saints keep finding themselves in the strange position of being criticized as part of conservative Christianity when faith is unpopular, but treated as outsiders when Christian coalitions gather?

At the same time, the Church is still facing pressure over the Fairview Texas Temple, even after reducing the size of the proposed temple, lowering the spire from the original design, going through the approval process, and receiving a 5–2 vote from the Fairview Town Council. Construction has moved forward, yet recent reports say local leaders have continued urging the Church to reduce the steeple even further.

So what is really happening?

Is this merely about zoning, aesthetics, and local preference? Or are we watching a broader pattern emerge — one where Latter-day Saints are expected to defend religious values publicly, but still face exclusion, misunderstanding, and double standards when we try to worship openly according to our faith?

In this episode, we look at Rededicate 250, the Fairview Texas Temple controversy, the recent Pentagon religious list controversy, and the First Presidency’s July 5th fast for religious liberty. The timing is remarkable. Before these headlines fully unfolded, the prophet and apostles had already placed religious freedom directly before the Saints.

Doctrine and Covenants 98 teaches that constitutional freedom belongs to “all mankind.” That means religious liberty is not just about protecting ourselves. It is about defending moral agency, conscience, temples, worship, missionary work, and the right of all people to seek God without coercion.

Latter-day Saints know from our own history what happens when religious freedom is narrowed only to the approved religions. Missouri, Nauvoo, and the extermination order are part of our spiritual memory. But that memory should not make us bitter. It should make us awake.

As America prepares to celebrate 250 years, the question becomes more urgent:

Will religious freedom belong to everyone — or only to the religions powerful enough to be included?
