BREAKING: UVU announces immediate closure of the Center for Intercultural Engagement.

The shutdown follows new state legislation restricting DEI programs. In response, student group Spectrum UVU has organized a sit-in and will be holding a community meeting this Thursday at 4 p.m. in the LGBTQ+ Intercultural Engagement Lounge to discuss next steps.

Representatives from the Protect Utah Workers Coalition are gathering signatures on campus to challenge House Bill 267, which prohibits public employers from recognizing unions as bargaining agents.
