“Never buy a salvage title.”
We’ve heard that comment about a thousand times... and it’s just not that simple.

Some total loss vehicles can be incredible deals if they were repaired correctly. Others can become a financial nightmare.
Things we’d think twice about:

• Heavy structural/frame damage
• Airbag deployment
• Flood damage

If you’re buying a rebuilt vehicle from Facebook Marketplace (or anywhere else), spend the money to have a reputable collision shop inspect it before you hand over your cash. It could save you thousands.

Not every salvage title is junk. Not every clean title is a good car either.

Buy with your brain, not your emotions.

The Blazer top is primed! One more task off our list ✅

Have you tried the Black Widow from Harbor Freight? I’m really happy with it!

We don’t love the texture and visible seams on the Blazer top, so we are sanding them down so we can paint it!

We started with 80 grit, then finished with 120. Then we used 3M panel bonder to fill the seams. The final step was a glaze coat. Now it’s ready for primer! Stay tuned!

Holy crap, the Blazer is finally at the mechanic! Will it be running and driving next time we see it?! 🙏

You can actually buy these bumpers with the fog lamps already in them, but we opted to French them in to our existing bumper to save money. We also welded up all the bolt holes to create a smooth finish. Can’t wait to see it painted!
