A small content mistake that isn’t talked about enough! This is one of the things I catch for my clients as a social media manager.

Some iPhone users have strong opinions against using your front camera (and it’s not my first choice either).

But there are occasions where people prefer it. Sooo, if you use your front-facing camera a lot (beauty creators, I’m especially looking at you), save this tip.

Before & after having the right social media support 💭

Even just one content day a month can free you up to focus on your money-making services and show up consistently online without the mental drain.

Which side are you on right now?

If you’re doing your own social media right now, this is one of those small habits that makes a big difference later.

When you eventually bring on a social media manager (or just Future You in 6 months), having your content organized by topic means you’re not starting from scratch every time an offer repeats.

This is one of those small things I do for my accounts that keeps content flowing without running out.

P.S. I have one spot left for social media management starting in June. Send me a DM if you’re interested!

Social with Karen is growing and officially bringing on interns! 💛🖤

I had the best time at UCF’s Intern Pursuit last night meeting so many talented students and getting to talk all things social media, content, and client work.

So excited to find the right fit to step into this next phase with me—right where my own social media journey took off.

Next up: going through resumes and setting up interviews over the next week!

In honor of the first trailer for the new Harry Potter series dropping ⚡️

This content was funny and silly, but there was a strategy behind it!

A few years ago, I worked for a university that had a free streaming platform for students…but barely anyone was using it (so weird lol).

So instead of just telling students about it…I brought the movies to them. 🪄

We recreated iconic scenes from films like Harry Potter, Jurassic Park, and Elf right on campus (all titles they could stream for free).

That shift made the difference. Students started paying attention, engaging, and platform usage spiked so much that the streaming company flew down to interview me as a case study for other universities.

Sometimes, it’s not a lack of interest… it’s just that your message needs a fresh delivery.

Anyone wanna see the other remakes? 🎬

If talking to the camera isn’t your strong suit, try these simple tips 🎥

As a social media manager, I handle the rest—cutting out pauses or filler words, adding engaging visuals, and making sure the final reel looks and feels natural (even if you stumbled through it).

The workaround most people don’t know about when it comes to QR codes on social media 😮

As a social media manager, I still don’t like using QR codes in your content. But at least now you’ll know how to access them if you need to!

And their content was never the same. 😉

This was actually a series I came up with 3-4 years ago for this university.

They had a FREE streaming service for students....but no one was using it and they couldn’t figure out why.

Enter me, as their social media manager 💁🏻‍♀️

I created a series recreating iconic movie scenes around campus - Harry Potter, Jurassic Park, Elf - all films available on their platform.

Awareness of the platform grew, students were paying attention, engaging, and actually using the service!

Would you like to see some of the other movies we did??
