Cinderella Castle is about to undergo a truly magical transformation. ✨

Disney Imagineers are prepping to immediately bring a refresh to the castle with a thoughtfully updated color palette featuring soft grays, warm creams, elegant blues, and delicate touches of gold, all designed to enhance its iconic architecture.

Sheen will play an important role in the update too, with subtle variations that make the castle feel more lifelike. The stonework will have a lower sheen for a natural look, while rooftops and gold accents will shine with a higher gloss, adding a beautiful decorative sparkle. Gold is also being used strategically around the spires to catch the last reflections of sunlight, giving the castle an extra bit of magic as the day turns to dusk.

Once work begins you'll notice cranes in the mornings on occasion. But they will be lowered and out of sight by noon each day. Work is expected to be completed later next year.
