Good Morning, Good Afternoon, or Good Evening!!
Hope this update finds everyone doing well and your summer is off to a good start.
There’s not much to update. We all had our P*P visit yesterday and we are all doing well, considering. Patrick has some lab work we gotta do next week. And we pick up his new hearing aids as well.
Sleep is a weird thing around here lately there’s been a lot of insomnia lately.
On the financial side of things. That’s still a huge issue. We are being told every which direction we try and it’s becoming so frustrating. Food stamps we make to much because they included Dominic’s 12 hrs a week he works ( if they schedule him that even poor kid. ) so we made little $400 too much. A few organizations said they don’t have funds right now. One paid our car payment for one month ( which that truly helped ). I tried to get assistance from the electric company via installments in addition to our monthly bill or through the good neighbor fund and our account isn’t available for any type of financial assistance, even though they know the situation. We did get a decent chunk paid. One place that was gonna help said we made to much money. But what people don’t understand is that’s what we were making before Cancer and before all the missed days of work. And I don’t think that is fair or right. Because even people who make a decent living sometimes struggle do to reasons out of their control. Because I promise he most definitely did not get cancer because it felt like the thing to do, don’t miss work because he just don’t want to go, because sometimes he just literally can’t go. So yeah we still have a $600 electric bill and rent that we’re not sure how it’s gonna happen but some how some way we’ll figure it out. ( at least the apartments are working with us a little even if we have to pay late fees and still only have a certain amount of time )
Anyways that’s the big update this week. Not much I know . Oh we did have his port flush yesterday as well which took less time then it did to find a place to park and it went fine.
We appreciate all the kind words and prayers and all the help from those who helped. We do still have the Amazon link activate if anyone’s interested in that.
