Round 3 infusion 6 went pretty well, for most part. A few labs were off a little so we are working on that. His calcium, potassium, and protein were all a little off. So we are increasing intake of everything that we can as he can tolerate. His legs and feet are still bothering him a lot, he gets his scan this week ( I think it’s this week anyways so many appointments being thrown at us right now again even my book is having a hard time keeping up lol ) to make sure there’s no clots so they can get him on some PRN medication for it. We did have a video call with the Oncologist as well. We got kinda good news I guess not really sure how we feel about it. But we don’t have any more infusions until after surgery or unless the ct and pet scans say he needs more or the urologist wants him to have more. However we don’t actually see the Urologist until July. So we’re not entirely sure of when surgery will be. We both are pretty nervous about that for sure.
Especially the not knowing part. But for now we are gonna enjoy the time we have without appointments or infusions and take it one day at a time.
We have continued to reach out to charities and other resources one said we didn’t meet the requirements because we didn’t have an eviction notice ( insert eye roll here ) yet. Which is exactly what we are trying to avoid. Along with not losing our ONLY car and our utilities as well as continuing to eat. We are making it work, how I’m not really sure by the grace of god and sure will I’m sure. So a huge shout out to those who have helped us in so many ways. Ways we will never be able to repay. From the kind and encouraging words, prayers, love good vibes, helping through gofundme, shopping our Amazon list ( which seems a little wild but everything on it is to help in this crazy journey one way or another ), helping through Venmo or cashapp. We are truly blessed to have such amazing people in our lives or who have just come into our life’s because of this and to know that even total strangers are willing to help, makes us keep hope during this incredibly hard time of our lives and gives us a little hope for this world. Ps please know everything on the Amazon list is literally things we need for all the medical equipment coming in and to make our home medically more safe, items of comfort for him and snacks for when he’s at chemo or things just don’t taste good. Or cleaning supplies. They are not just some random items we threw together.

Started round 3 infusion 5 on 4/28/26. It’s been a little more rough this time, with having thick bug last week Chemo hit him a little harder this week. His legs have begun to hurt now also. We were supposed to had a CT scan yesterday but we had to reschedule because by the time we got done getting his CPAP he was exhausted so we rescheduled it for next week. He also has to have a special scan on his legs before they will give him any pain meds to make sure he don’t have any clots causing the pain. His glucose has leveled out for the most part and is stay relatively normal considering.

We have reached out to several resources and hopefully things will start coming through as everything just keeps piling up and here we are struggling to get this months bills paid and it’s already time for rent and next months bills. So anything will help even if you just share or get something off his Amazon wish list for his comfort. It will help.
We just want to say again how much we appreciate everyone’s kindness and love and support in this difficult time. It means so much more to us then we will ever be able to express and it will never go forgotten.
