Shanghai Disney Resort has announced plans for a new hotel near the entrance of Shanghai Disneyland. The hotel, which will be the resort's fourth, will be the closest Disney hotel to the park. The new development plan also includes the expansion of shopping, dining and entertainment offerings at its Disneytown district.

Officials say the expansion plans come amid growing demand from guests. Shanghai Disneyland, which opened in 2016, recently welcomed its 100 millionth theme park guest.

Disney plans to launch a new version of its popular attraction in 2026. The revamped ride will be called Soarin' Across America, and it will showcase more than 12 locations across the U.S.

The new version will debut at EPCOT and Disney California Adventure in the summer.

Remy's Ratatouille Adventure at EPCOT will close Nov. 10-13 to switch to 2D. The attraction will get enhanced digital effects and clearer imagery. New props and lighting will be added to the attraction and the queue in the coming months.

Universal Destinations & Experiences has dropped more details about its upcoming Universal Kids Resort opening next year in Frisco, Texas. The resort—which was designed for families with young children—will feature seven lands based on Shrek, Minions, Jurassic World, SpongeBob and more.

Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets will open summer 2026 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Disney has announced.

It will feature the first-ever Scooter animatronic, but Disney has hinted that Scooter might not be the only Muppet animatronic joining the attraction.

Disney World is letting go of the projection faces on the Anna, Elsa and Kristoff animatronics on Frozen Ever After at EPCOT.

The animatronics will be updated early next year to be similar to the animatronic figures in the World of Frozen attraction at Hong Kong Disneyland.
