Those Tarpon are impatient! 😅

After reading the warnings, we were all cautious about how close to get to the Tarpon. I (Nicole) of course, was the one to have the Tarpon's mouth on me as he took his prize right from my fingers. I was distracted for ONE SECOND by the sneaky pelican and got taken by surprise. ðŸĪĢ

Dinner afterward was yummy. Everything was pricey but the whole experience was worth it. Definitely a must visit in The Keys.

Overall, we really enjoyed The Beak and Barrel at Magic Kingdom.

The Beak and Barrel opened last August in Adventure Land in Magic Kingdom in the old location of The Pirates League. It is the same idea as Oga's Cantina over in Galaxy's Edge in Hollywood Studios - limited time, limited menu, immersive experience. The imagineers did an amazing job once again - every nook is filled with interesting details.

While we would say the food and drinks are superior at Oga's Cantina, The Beak and Barrel is definitely worth the visit if only for the experience alone.

Drinks/Food Ratings

⚔ïļŽ Barrels Ablaze 10/10
Tasted like a spicy whiskey sour (Nicole's favorite drink). Nibble on the candied garnish unless you want a lot of spice at once.

⚔ïļŽ Salty Seas mARRRgarita 7/10
A good, salty margarita but I preferred the Barrels Ablaze.

⚔ïļŽ Treasure Trove (na) ?/10
Mixed Reviews - One kid loved it (10/10), the other one didn't (1/10)

⚔ïļŽ Kraken's Catch 10/10
Basically an octopus ceviche. Huge hit with all 3 guys.

⚔ïļŽ Cook's Corn Griddle Cakes with Chipotle-Braises Chicken 7/10
Great flavor, a little too chewy on the griddle cakes, could be spicier.
