We are stoked to announce that we are now managing songwriter/producer Fred Cimato!! 🖤
Based out of Los Angeles, California, Fred Cimato is a mixing engineer specializing in songwriting and producing in pop, pop-punk emo and alternative music. “My focus has always been on strong hooks, honest emotion, natural vocal performances and polished production that still feels human,” Fred Cimato says about his work.
Cimato acts as the primary songwriter behind staple pop-rock band Cute Is What We Aim For. “I’ve spent years developing a style that blends emotionally vulnerable writing with catchy, commercially accessible melodies,” Cimato says regarding his developing music design. “A lot of my influence comes from ‘90s/early 2000s pop punk and emo, but I try to approach songwriting in a way that still feels current and emotionally real.”
Having the opportunity to work with and learn directly from respected multi-platinum producers and songwriters, including John Feldmann (Blink-182, The Used, Good Charlotte,) Matt Squire (Panic! At The Disco, All Time Low, Boys Like Girls), Shep Goodman (Bayside, Head Automatica), Sal Villanueva (Taking Back Sunday, Thursday) and Jake Ewald of Modern Baseball. Cimato has an extensive network having written with Super American and more. “Those experiences helped shape the way I think about melody, structure, vocal production, arrangement, and emotional impact in songwriting,” Cimato says.
