From Sasha & John Digweeds firsts visits to Orlando in the early 90's with resident dj's like Dj Sandy,Rob E,D Xtreme at the Legendary Firestone to the massive all night rave's at The Edge where Dj Icee packed the house till the sun came up and was responsible for bringing over the C

hemical Brothers for their first U.S. appearance and where Dj's AK 1200 and Baby Anne and many more cut their teeth in becoming global superstars. Aahz, The prolific club in downtown that Resident Dj's Kimball Collins & Dave Cannalte took guests on a musical journey until the sun came up the next day.. The Godfather of Bass music Dj Magic Mike created the Bass sound right here, It may be called Miami Bass but it was the Gold & Platnuim recording artist who created and mastered it.. The thousands of records that flew off the shelves of local area record Stores like the Hottie Shop, Vinyl Frontier, Underground records, The Drop Shop, Steve's Southern Music, Rock n Roll Heaven, Murmur records even Peaches Records back then was selling Dance Music by the car loads.. To the countless Cd's produced and released by Orlando artists and Dj's that crossed the country and the oceans and blew up abroad helping to make Orlando a world renowned EDM must stop for touring Dj's. These are just a few of the Orlando Natives and or Based Dj's & Artists who helped shape and create a scene that has been discussed in books and movies and the reason why The Orlando Underground Dance Music scene is what it is today!!
