1. Disney’s Yacht Club Resort (where Commodore Peppermint Patty took over)
2. Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside
3. Disney’s Art of Animation Resort

Seventeen years apart, and this church still stopped us cold both times. ⛪️✨

We stood in this exact spot back in 2006, on our very first trip together as a couple. We came back seventeen years later and it hit us all over again. 🕯️

This is Notre Dame Basilica, in Old Montreal. Built in 1829, it's one of Canada's most visited historic landmarks, and it doesn't feel like North America once you're inside. 🇨🇦 Do yourself a favor and scroll through all of the pictures.

Tickets run CA$16 for adults, CA$10 for kids 6 to 16, and it's worth every dollar. 🎟️

Every time we come home from Montreal, the border agents act like going to Canada for the weekend was a personal betrayal. Alicia’s impression is 100% accurate to the energy we get every single time.

Normally our world travels mean passports and long flights ✈️, but today we are doing it the easy way, sipping and snacking our way around the globe without ever leaving Florida 🍷🥐🌍. Funny how a walk through World Showcase can scratch that same itch to explore new places and flavors.

Settle a household debate: is 5 miles on the belt or 14 miles in the elements the smarter way to train? 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

We’re over a month into our BG26.2 & Half Marathon training block and our setups couldn’t be more opposite. Alicia is tackling the Half Marathon exclusively on the treadmill (climate control, Netflix, zero bad weather). Nathan is grinding for the full 26.2 outside (humidity, wind, and elevation).

The stakes: whoever gets fewer votes in the comments is stuck doing ALL the sweaty running laundry until race day. 🧺

Newsletter Issue #8 is live! This one is packed. Two Labor Day weekend marathons, an unexpected Elvis detour, Peppermint Patty's college football picks making their comeback, and a first look at something new we are working on for our Treasure Coast community.

That is Alicia outside Johnnie's Drive Inn in Tupelo, Mississippi, the diner where Elvis used to grab a burger as a kid. It is one of the fun stops we cover in the newsletter and blog post tied to our latest episode on the Tupelo and Heart of America Marathons.

We're off to Disney, one of our favorite Marrying Your Passions traditions. This trip has become one of our favorite parts of the year, and we never take it for granted. Alicia is working on site for a few days, holding things down while Nathan and Peppermint Patty soak up the resorts, snap some photos, eat all the foods, and get a little spoiled by the magic.

That moment when your phone lights up with "Hold Your Phone Against the Lock" never gets old, it's such a small thing, but it hits every single time.

Once Alicia's work wraps up, she'll hop in and join us for Food and W**e at Epcot, and honestly that is our favorite part of the whole trip.

Wishing everyone out there a happy and relaxing Labor Day weekend, wherever you're spending it.
